Real eye-opener
This book was given to me by a friend who said that it was a real eye-opener. He was correct. Islam's Jihad is a real and present danger for the whole world, not simply the west. I was unaware of how entrenched their culture is with their religion. As an American, we are tolerant of different cultures and religions. But this tolerance will be our downfall if we do not act against this Islam problem. For me, it begins with education. Just as it had opened my eyes to the true nature of the problem, so I am giving this book to family members and friends to alert them as well. This is no joke. Nazi Germany was a mere 70 years ago, but this could be 7 times worse than Germany with all the various countries that are Muslim. And the Germans were doing this for Hitler. The Jihad are doing their atrocities in the name of Allah, I believe a greater motivator than any man could be. Read this book! Then pass it on. This may save our children and their children from a dreadful world. May God grant us the courage to stand up and do the right things before it is literally too late.

Revelation
Although I had read Gabriel's other books, I had not grasped the intricate relationship between the government and religion in Muslim ruled countries. In Iran for example, the claim to be ruled as a republic by the people is contradicted by the makeup of the representatives. In contrast to Gabriel's hope I see no way for Islam to change. I pray he is correct.

Muslims vs the world
This is an excellent overview of the differances between Muslims and western culture. This book really helped me understand why "common sense" diplomacy doesn't work with them. If you can never question your religion, you are stuck in a time warp where nothing ever changes unless outside forces make it happen.

Islam explained
This book is excellent by explaining Islam and how their beliefs are opposite that of the USA and how we should not allow sharia law to be established in the United States. The explanation of Jihad is world conquest with the establishment of sharia law worldwide.

An amazingly good read by an expert - a Christian convert from Mohammedanism and a former Moslem Imam and Professor at Al Azhar Univeristy - on the differences between Western democracy, largely built on Christian beliefs and values, and the Mohammedan world, largely built on the Koran and the Hadith.

The Real Truth
Mark Gabriel has written the following books:1. Against the Tides in the Middle East (1997)2. Islam and Terrorism - first edition (2002); second edition (2015)3. Islam and the Jews (2003)4. Jesus and Muhammad (2004)5. Journey into the Mind of an Islamic Terrorist (2006)6. Culture Clash (2007)7. Coffee with the Prophet (2008)Apart from the first, I have read them all. The author describes how his Islamic upbringing failed to give him the freedom necessary to question his faith during his times of doubt. In the end he was judged harshly by his fellow scholars and sacked for his religious views. This story reminds me of the Anglican cleric Anthony Freeman, who was also sacked for publishing his thoughts in a book entitled “God In Us”.Gabriel made the mental leap that caused him to transcend his upbringing; he realised that the Islam he was taught is not a religion of love and peace, however expressing his views proved almost fatal. He searched for a better god and found the god of Christianity. That now makes him an Islamic apostate - for which the penalty is death. His books build a compelling case against Islam and the Prophet of Allah (Muhammad). He finds the words of Jesus more egalitarian, humane, loving and compassionate and the Father of Jesus a much more personal God. Indeed he goes so far as to state that the god of Islam is not the god of Christianity.Having got this far in his journey, Mark Gabriel has stopped. He has leapt from the supernatural god of Islam to the supernatural god of Christianity. But, if Mark Gabriel were born into Christianity in the West, would this be his final resting place? Well, it wasn’t for me.I think at this point one needs to read either Freeman’s “God In Us” or Richard Dawkins’s “The God Delusion”, because the next and most natural step is to dispel with the notion of supernatural and to come back down to earth and accept that we humans need to take responsibility for all our thinking and our actions. We make up our own rules as we go along and we do our best to stick to them. That is the real truth.
