I had debated whether or not to buy true Oakley replacement lenses for awhile. After I considered that buying new Oakley lenses would essentially be purchasing 75% of a new pair anyway, I figured it was time to try something cheap. I researched the variety of after-market lenses available on Amazon.Long story short, got these and have used them the past many months. Took them to the beach and into a salt water pool and they always cleaned up just fine. Very impressed so far. So let's do pros and cons:Pros:- Finish looks great. I went with the blue polarized and am very happy with the depth of color.- Reflectivity on the outside is good. Not mirror finish, but no one will be seeing your eyes.- Does clean off salt-water easily. Get a good lenses cloth and simply wipe clean.- Appears to take some beating. The coating hasn't chipped, peeled, or been damaged whatsoever.- Acceptable pricepoint. Much cheaper than going to Oakley, but not bargain basement. I felt what I paid was very appropriate.Cons:- Fit doesn't seem absolutely identical to Oakley, but they are sturdy when placed into the frame.- Polarization is good and definitely "there". Not a scam like other lenses. I do wish they were just as intense as Oakley's though. For the price though, I'm satisfied. Works great around water environments.I'd easily purchase again. If these last half as long as my original Oakley lenses, I'll be satisfied.

05/08/20 update: So after 6 months of wearing the replacement lenses, I unfortunately have to say they are starting to flake off again. So I would have to say that the anti-salt coating just doesn't hold water. I'm kind of disappointed because these lenses are by far the clearest lenses that I have tried and are just as clear as the OEM lense. I was holding out hope that I found my goto replacement lenses. I'm dropping down to 3 stars from 5 because of this. If you don't get salt spray on these, or aren't in an environment where they will get saltwater on them, I think they are fantastic lenses. Unfortunately they just aren't going to work for me.11/5/19 update: So after 2 1/2 months, the coating has started to flake off. As mentioned in my earlier review, I'm on the gulf almost every weekend so they do get sprayed with salt water on occasion. However, I always rinse them off with fresh water afterwards. I'm leaving them at 5 stars because of customer service. They responded quickly and sent me a new set of lenses. I got these because of the anti-salt coating that is supposed to help protect the lenses from salt water or sweat but I'm now somewhat skeptical. I guess we'll see with the new lenses and I'll update after a while.Original Review: These lenses are very clear. This is my 3rd different brand of XLJ lenses bought off of Amazon and so far these lenses are by far the clearer of any of them. They do give off a bit more of a yellow tint that I had expected but it's not bothersome. The polarization is good, it definitely takes the glare off the water. I also bought these because of the Anti-Salt claim, being out on the Gulf every weekend this is a must for me. They have held up very well so far, I do rinse them with fresh water once back home but so far so good.

I lost my Oakley XLJ Flak Jackets and found them in the gravel road a week later.The frames snapped back together and were in good enough shape to salvage for a spare/yard work glasses. The rubber and lenses were toast so I ordered these and they fit perfect and looked really good!The ear socks and nose pieces were really comfortable and the lenses provided good protection.Well, I dropped them in the road again and ran them over so I will try to buy just the lenses, if not I'll reorder as these were a great value.

I bought these mostly to replace the missing nose pieces on my flak jackets. I bought the blue lenses simply because I wanted to use them for fishing. The inside has a brown tint which does really brighten up everything your looking at. the pieces for the sunglasses to replace worked good, I only used the nose pieces as my glasses still had the rest. The glasses have a very light tint to them as I can see my eyes clearly thought the lenses. I really expected them to be darker because it makes them very difficult to wear in bright sunlight. A super sunny day I had to change out the blue lenses with the original black lenses. Just disappointed I thought they would make the tint darker it is very silly to make them so light i can see my eyes through the lenses in a mirror. Next time I would buy from a different company hoping their lenses are darker tinted.

Photochromic, yes.Coated lens, yes.Low cost, yes.These lenses check all the boxes. Pleasantly surprised by the quality. The photochromic range works well for me. I wanted something that starts out clear (or close to it) for pre-dawn bike rides. These are nearly clear at night or on shady trails. They won't get super dark, but that is to be expected and works well for my purposes. Also lenses do not attract dirt or water. They stay clean and dry through fog or dust. I would say these are very very close to the original Oakley transition lenses. Best alternative I've tried. Will buy again.

Transition effect was extremely slow. Much slower than any I’ve used in the past. Also, unless you’re staring into the sun, you’ll never get close to the max light blocking power it claims.I wanted to use these for range glasses, but due to very light sensitive eyes, the amount of light it still let in was a no-go. Couldn’t justify keeping them when comparing the actual product to the claims.

I wasn’t sure about buying replacement lenses, but I’m really pleased I did. It took a few attempts to fit the new lenses in, but the result was a virtually new pair of sunglasses. The only thing I didn’t like were the nose pads, as they seemed more sticky on my nose. I decided to give 5 star review for the lenses alone.

Very pleased with these lenses. They a have a film on them that smudges easily, but doesn’t appear to scratch easily. Fit my Flak frames well, and the accessory kit is a nice refresher for the frames. Good bang for your buck!

The lens does not fit. Different cut for my XLJs. So I didn't bother being disappointed to open the other pieces. No the painful paying postage to return them.
