The Very Lonely Firefly

My son is not at all interested in this book. The pictures are dark and dull. The the lines are monotonous.Wouldn't recommend. Also, the size of the board book is really small.

This is better than the very busy Spider book by the same author, but not as good as the hungry caterpillar.The Story doesn't interest the kids and only attractive part is the LED lights on the last page.

Excellent book, only problem is once they know about the lights.. They will be curious to move to last page..

My fifteen-month old loves this book. The story holds her attention with the bright illustrations, but her favourite part is the last page where all the fireflies are blinking. Delivery and packing were fine.

A famous book by Eric Carle. Good board quality and last page has blinking lights which captures kids attention. Overall, a good buy for my toddler's library..

Disappointed with the book !! The LED lights don't light up at all !! My toddler wasn't intrigued by the book like she normally is with other Eric carle books

Never worked. Even after changing the batteries. Not one of Eric Carle’s best works .

This book didn't light up when it arrived, Amazon sent a replacement which also didn't work so they refunded me. I replaced the batteries in one of the books and it worked for about a week. It seems the books drain the batteries even when the pages are closed. My little girl was really disappointed when the fireflies stopped lighting up. Poor design. It's a shame because the story itself is good.

Bought this after seeing the hungry caterpillar stage show (this was one of the stories done on stage). My 3 year old daughter was enchanted by the story on stage and loves this book too.

Very lovely story to talk with little ones about the dark and of course fireflies. At the end the firefly found another’s fireflies which flash!!! That was a lovely surprise! Great to read at bed time.

Bought for daughter, in reasonable condition, pleasantly surprised to find fireflies still lit up.

Attractive book with fireflies having led lights in their tails, though my granddaughter was slightly underwhelmed by it.
