Excellent tiny little tripod
I have included some images for your reference. The product is obviously very small and portable. It measures approximately 10 cm. The screw part measures around 5mm. The material is plastic and it can comfortably bear the weight of the 480+ gram weight of the gimbal. It stands comfortably and doesn't tilt or shake. There can be some improvement in the quality of the plastic material but for non-rough use, this should achieve your purpose of taking selfies or with your friends. Also, you can record video much easily as the smartphone and gimbal are fixed onto this unit and your videos won't have that shaking effect which makes it look unprofessional. It's good for those who like posting their video stories on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp etc as you can move freely. The only thing I did not like was the extra huge packet for such a tiny item. Also I'm guessing (not tested) very heavy products beyond 700-800 grams might create undue strain on this tiny atlas of a tripod as it has to support the gimbal and the smartphones both. Make sure you check/know the weight of the gimbal and smartphone combine before purchasing as shown on product details page. I will definitely recommend this Ulanzi tripod as it does a good job for smartphone camera and videography amateurs like myself.

Didn't work for me.
In theory it works. In practise it would not balance and tip over when I placed my Samsung Pro Lite in portrait mode. I bought it so I could finally use an old selfie stick as a tripod while I followed a class online. But it didn't do the trick.

Quality is good but you may feel it’s too small in hands

Decent Tripod for Osmo Mobile 3
I bought it for Osmo mobile 3. It is giving excellent service. It is compact and easy to use too. Just a bit expensive in my opinion.

Can't go wrong with Ulanzi
This is my second purchase of an Ulanzi product as a Christmas gift. My adult daughter is an up-and-coming Instagram bakery proprietor in Phoenix, AZ and I've been trying to make regular contributions to her photographic arsenal. This stand will work with virtually any device that uses standard tripod bolt threads, including video and still cameras, game cans, light rigs and shoes, microphones, etc. In my case, the Ulanzi stand will be used to stand up DJI's phenomenal Osmo Mobile 2 gimbal.Ulanzi's products are known for their simple design, affordability and easy to use controls and this stand is no exception. Whether you are new to video or a seasoned vet looking for a more professional look, this stand is a smart and inexpensive way to improve your content from the ground up.

Just Fair
This is a decent mini tripod at a fair price. This isnt going to blow you away. Its small, light, and simple. This can be good or bad depending on how you want to look at it. While it does pack easy, its just not going to be your go to mini tripod. As a grip, it does work. Especially true for direct attachment action camera duty. It does not, however, feel super solid. Its just ok as a grip for light camera. I would not use it for anything much heavier, including action camera plus gimbal or direct to DLSR. You will probably break it with occasional use. It feels cheap. As a tripod, it has limited use. If you direct attach to an action cam, its fine in many terrain and offers reasonable stabilization in less than perfectly level hard and soft surface. With a 1 foot extension or similar length action camera gimbal, it becomes a little more limited but still ok for a fair amount of situations. Anything longer than that and this becomes very unstable or cannot work at all. I tried using it with my Hero 5 and Feiyu G5 with 3 foot telescopic monopod extended (as I have seen similar mini tripods being used in advertisements). It will work barely on perfectly level hard surface (like concrete). If there is even the tiniest grade, it will topple over. Forget off hard surface use. Maybe I was expecting too much?Overall, I probably would not buy this again for my intended use. It is small, light, and simple. I like that. However, its just not solid enough, has very limited application as a tripod, and feels very cheap as a grip. Maybe I was expecting too much, so take that into account.

It works for me
I wanted something light, small, and easy to carry on my EVO Pro with a GoPro Hero 4. This tripod fits the bill.I wanted something easy to pack in the case, and something small I could fold up and use on the Gimbal without adding a lot of weight.I wanted the ability to set the EVO Pro with my Hero 4 on a table, and this fits the bill!It is plenty stable to set this down on a table. No it is absolutely not stable on rocks and things and especially if your surface is leaning. If that was important to me, I would have gotten a tripod that has longer legs. As it is,, I wanted something small to put on and carry, so if I need to, I can set this down for a second without turning the gimbal off.I do agree, that in wind, the EVO pro would be blown over, with your gopro. For that purpose the bigger, heavier gimbal that is going to add size is better for that purpose.I hike with this, with my arm bent, so I really don't want to add weight. The gimbal and camera are heavy enough as it is.With the EVO Pro, there is some flex in the Z direction(up or down) with the legs of this gimbal, so the legs do flex a little because they are plastic.Summary:I like it, and this is what I wanted.
