Lovin the Justin Gypsy
I was looking for a comfortable pair of work boots that I could slip into rather than having to lace. The reviews were very good on the Justin Gypsy boots AND I have a friend who wears them and raves about how comfortable they are. They looked great on her, so I decided to try a pair. Amazon had a GREAT price on these at just over $70.00 with free shipping. I wear a size 8M, but when I ordered these I accidentally selected 8.5 from the drop down sizing selector. The 8.5 was too big, even with thick socks, so I returned them. Amazon (via Prime) paid for free return shipping with no hassle, even though the error was mine. I quickly received the replacement (size 8) - delivered on a Sunday, believe it or not. Incredible Service by Amazon! That said, I have worn the boots only one day now, but they are already breaking in nicely. The foot bed feels great on my feet with minor heel slippage and I'm confident are going to be very comfortable. They are light weight and I love the look of the aged bark leather. They have a removeable insole, which I love in boots, because they can be replaced and or washed. I found the boots to be "true to size." There does appear to be a significant different in 1/2 sizes. The 8.5 was so big on me, I considered ordering a 7.5, BUT (based on reviews) went with my true size of 8 and I'm sure glad I did!

I love these boots
I love these boots! They are very comfortable, and fit comfortably. It's currently summer, so I wear them with regular socks and have no issue with them slipping or sliding, but I could definitely add a thicker sock in late fall/early winter when I'm not ready to switch to my insulated boots.I wear these all around my property, in the garden, hiking, on the tractor, splitting wood - you name it! I've spent hours in them and really love them. There's been no breaking in time, no rubbing or irritated spots. As with western-style boots, they are wide at the top so I like them best with my jeans tucked in to ensure no dirt or wood chips get in.While my main purpose was functionality, of course I also wanted something nice looking. The boot is sturdy, good quality and the stitching is well done. I've happily gone to family events in them because they look nice and are just so darn comfortable.Definitely a great investment.

Functional AND fashionable boots!
I think these boots are attractive, but more importantly than that, they're also functional. I got these boots when I was doing horseback riding lessons, and it turned out they were just the boots I needed because of their heel and their sturdiness. You want ones with a heel about this size to prevent your foot from slipping too far forward in the stirrup (which, if you fell off, could cause your foot to become caught in the stirrup and cause all sorts of painful things). These are also extremely sturdy, something important when horseback riding. Once when I was wearing these boots, a large horse stepped on my foot and stood there for a full 60 seconds before we finally got him off. My big toe hurt for a long time afterwards, but I had no broken bones and no lasting injuries because of how sturdy these boots are. The boot itself was indented a bit from the horse's foot, but you can hardly tell now.

Love my boots
I love these boots. They are the perfect work/play/barn/rainy day/kicking around boot. I don't think they are the most stylish things, but they aren't meant to be. I've had mine for a bit over a year now and they are wearing really well. I've worn them a lot, in all kinds of weather, and they still look great. I got the aged bark with the pink/purple. I know they aren't waterproof but I've worn they in rain and my feet have never been wet.As far as sizing, I'm usually an 8.5 in boots and that's what I got in these. They fit just fine. I do think they are a bit wide though. It doesn't bother me and I like being able to wear thick socks with them in cold weather. It's nice that the insoles can come out so you can replace with your own if you want. These are NOT snow boots though, so be advised if you wear them on ice and snow you will probably slip.I feel like these are a bit overpriced. I got mine on sale and I recommend you wait for a coupon from Amazon. They do a 25% off one quite often!

Cute and Comfy!
I bought these literally one day before I was supposed to leave for a dude ranch. I'm tall so I didn't want anything with too high of a heel and I didn't want boots up to my knee, after searching I found these. They are so comfy it's ridiculous! I must have read 70 of the reviews on the gypsy boot and even went to the Justin website to see what it had to say…I did my research. I went against the apparent majority of buyers who purchased a half size larger than their normal shoe size, and I'm glad I did. I have a wider foot and a high instep but the 9.5s fit great. After about 15 minutes of wearing them, the boots seemed to "give" in the right places and fit great.I wore them the entire weekend and have no complaints! In fact, I wore them to work my first day back (and I'm on my feet alot) and at the end of the day my feet felt great! OK, one complaint, I just wish they had another black version!
