Masterbuilt MES 340G Bluetooth Electric Smoker

I have a basic, no extras masterbuilt at home, it does great. But I do have to keep an eye on the thermometer and adjust it as it goes. Our boss got us this one for the company to use, and I gave it it's maiden voyage yesterday. I set it, left going over night, and it was great. Didn't have to adjust the temp, the smoke chip tube on the side was great. I will be getting one of these for the house soon.

This is a great smoker; however, if you are buying it with remote Bluetooth control in mind, forget it. Save your money and stick with manual control. (Look up the Masterbuilt App reviews rated at something like 1.7 of 5). It will not stay connected for anyone. They simply slapped something together so they could paste a Bluetooth symbol on the box and appear to be technologically advanced, but it absolutely does not work, is devoid of critical function (like settable high and low meat temperature set points and alarms for the meat/cheese probe). It will tell you when the smoker reaches the set temperature, but not the meat. The app is pretty useless and not at all well thought out.

Bought from masterbuilt on 6/24 and received on 6/30. That’s the only good news I have. The Product was defective right out of box. I have called masterbuilt over 10x and they have not solved my issue. They just keep sending me new parts! They say I’m just supposed to put the new parts in and it’s supposed to work. WRONG! It still doesn’t work & hasn’t worked for me at all. Brand new smoker just sitting in my house. Masterbuilt said they won’t even take it back until I go through putting all New parts in first. Buy another smoker from a better quality company. This product is such a disappointment as is their service.
