Portable, Sturdy, Well-made, High quality materials...
***Set-Up Process – THIS STEP IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT or you will assume your brand new Roadster you just purchased arrived defective. You must prime the pump unit via the handle several times before you even begin thinking about using it as a floor jack. HF jacks come pre-primed (mine first did when I purchased it a few years back at their store). But this is not an HF jack, it is a Sunex! (much better quality in my opinion). With all of this being said, read the “stop” tag and/or the user manual that will show you how to properly do this or the Roadster will barely work and you will believe it is broken. So don’t get yourself into a tizzy, read the darn directions it’s not that hard***Quality - The Sunex Roadster 1.75 Ton floor jack is very well made despite the fact it is made in China. I am not a fan of M.i.C. products although many products I own are in fact made in that country, sometimes we have no choice. But when I do, I look for products made elsewhere, i.e. - USA, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan (NOT the same as China as they have much stricter quality control standards & higher quality material. The ignorant mind however will refuse to tell the difference, I beg to differ. OK enough on where it is made. The build quality on this thing is great. It is mostly made from aluminum except for some components, springs and other bolts being metal (more on that in a second). Perhaps only time will tell but given the fact the humidity here in the DFW area of Texas is not all that bad (compared to some coastal states) it will remain rust free for most of its shelf life.Shipping / Rust – When I first purchased this floor jack it arrived very well packaged without any damage in spite of the 40 lb. weight, more than likely due to the original 2-piece box (like a gigantic shoe box) being boxed up inside another larger Amazon shipping box (how all heavier items should be packaged!). A true testament because the outer box was somewhat crushed in on one end. In short, it was very well protected. However, upon unpacking the Roadster out of the original box, it became obvious all metal components unfortunately rusted out (as pictured). Completely unexpected especially from a brand-new item. So, I repackaged the jack exactly how it arrived, printed out the return shipping label and dropped it off at a UPS store so it could be sent back to Amazon as a FREE Return. Essentially, it did not cost me anything to ship this back (except the cost of a blank sheet of paper to print out the label along with a load of packing tape to seal up the box aforementioned above and lastly the short drive to the UPS store, trust me it was worth it). I opted to exchange it as opposed to receiving a full refund because I needed a new floor jack. By the way, Amazon’s website does a great job of walking you through the steps on how to do this. So they did me a solid by shipping out another brand-new RUST-FREE Roadster!Usage -- I have used it a handful of times so far - to jack up the car for a flat, another time for a tire rotation and lastly for a brake job at all four corners (of course w/ safety in mind using jack stands as added security). So far, the Roadster lifts the entire vehicle in approx. 5 to 6 full pumps of the handle. I maxed out the height (as pictured) to see how capable it is and I have got to say am thoroughly impressed. On top of that, the Roadster is obviously more than capable of lifting even SUV’s (as seen in someone else’s review here). The base is also very stable while lifting the car and does not tip around, unlike my old Harbor Freight Aluminum 1.5 T floor jack used to do because of the narrower frame in comparison to the Roadster’s.Portability – I got a chance to transport this one time in my car’s trunk. I thoroughly like and appreciate the fact the 2-piece handle has the ability to unlock and slide into itself. It can then be folded downward 90 degrees and hooked into place. For peace of mind when I picked it up, I made certain two hands were used. Although you can technically lift it with one hand, I recommend you do not for the sake of safety and control – to each their own. Due to its 40 lb. weight (which isn’t all too heavy per se) the jack will roll around unless you secure it. I twisted up an old beach towel and cradled it around the casters to prevent it from rolling around too much and also to prevent it from smashing in to anything inside my trunk. Conclusion – very impressed, happy and satisfied with my purchase! You won’t regret it!

So far so good
It’s a great light weight little Jack are use it on my Toyota Tacoma it will lift one wheel at a time I wouldn’t try to raise the whole rear end or anything with it but it’s great to just pop a wheel off or something. I’ve had some surgeries and can’t lift a whole lot so this thing fits the bill. I haven’t used it a whole lot but so far it seems sturdy and like it will hold up

Excellent Emergency Jack for Cars, Trucks, and SUVs
This is a full-blown jack that is smaller than ones you typically buy in store. It is rated to hold 3500 lb, which is more than enough for any side of any car/truck/suv. Moreover, it is versatile: low enough for the lowest of cars and high enough for most trucks and SUVS (16.5" max height). Now while this is a jack and can be used as your main jack, I wouldn't recommend it. The reason for this is because you can purchase a full-time jack that is well made for around half the price of this. Why this jack is more expensive, even though it does the same thing, is because of the size and weight. The jack weighs 39lb (~17.5 kg) and can be easily picked up and carried with 1 hand (I prefer two because of the way the handle is). This should be manageable enough for men and women. Moreover, it is smaller than my 'regular size' full-time jack: 23" (~60cm) length x 11.25" (~28.5 cm) width at the widest point and can be easily fit in a trunk or tailgate. The latter is why this is a bit more pricey. For a full-time 'emergency jack' that you can have in your car, this works beautifully both in size and function.I used this to jack up my 3rd gen 4runner that rides fairly high as far as SUVs go. It easily jacked up the rear driver side tire with about 3" of clearance, and it wasn't even maxed out. Even though I could only pump the handle 1/8 of a full pump, it took about 10-15 pumps to get to a reasonable height for a tire change/brake job. That being said, it is as well built as my main jack, with steel wheels and a extendable handle. The handle, though, is secured a bit better with the Sunex as it has a 'spring clip' that will catch on the back of the jack when tilted back to the max, locking it in place. Handle length at full extend is 35" (~.9m). There is a locking clip in front when you want to lower the handle to keep it from moving around when you want to store it.Handling it preferably requires two hands, as the main side handle is towards the front of the jack where the lightest part of the jack is. So holding the handle with the left hand and the back wheels with the right was the ideal choice for me.Full dimension list:Low height: 3.5" (~9cm)High height: 16.5" (~42cm)Handle length: 35" (~89cm)Overall length: 23" (~59cm)Overall width: 11.25" (~29cm)Saddle diameter: 4.25" (~11cm)Weight: 39lb (~17.5kg)Before use, note the sticker on the foam pad that Sunex recommends you do before use. If they are not there, do the following:1. Rotate clockwise until lock2. Rotate counter clockwise 2 full turns3. Pump full travel 10 times4. Rotate clockwise5. Pump to max height6. Turn counter clock wise to release*Do all of the above with no weight and you are done.------------------------------Excellent jack solely for portable use. It's hard to say how well a jack will do unless you use it for a while. Will update this if something changes, because, as we all know, the first trial should always be good...and jacks tend to 'loose steam' quickly if not made well. I recommend only for those who want an easy go-to option to permanently keep in their car. While it should do well as your main garage jack, I don't recommend buying it for that reason because there are less expensive options for that. The premium here is with the size and weight.
