Sauder Camden County Computer Desk With Hutch, Planked Cherry finish

A very good quality desk but somewhat time consuming to assemble. All parts fit very well but not all parts were marked. The instruction manual was very good … clear and concise.

Fairly easy to put together. Love color.

The drawer was not manufactured correctly at the plant. We thought we had put the side rails on incorrectly. We took it apart several times and finally figured out the company did it incorrectly. The drawer does not fit. It was very frustrating. We plan on making the corrections ourselves. But we are still glad that we purchased unit and it looks nice in our space.

Took seven hours to put together. I had to go slow because of a hernia. Otherwise, it probably would have been five and half to six hours. Instructions easy to understand and hardware was already separated in packaging. The only problem I had was aligning the door for the computer tower, tight fit. There was a large cut-out in the back for the computer tower connections. All the cut-outs are in the right places. None of the parts were damaged. A handsome looking desk.I gave it four stars because the connectors used, to replace the cam connectors (what used to be used) are kind of cheap.I put sliders under the unit, at six points and left them there, just in case it needs to be moved a few inches this or that way in the future.It might be a good idea to read the directions before starting to put it together.

Wonderful multifunctional table for the computer. Delivered in good factory packaging. Easy to assemble, all parts fit exactly without any additional modifications. Fits perfectly in my room decor.

Just the thing for apartments and condos and other places where space is limited. It's narrow enough to fit in tight spots, but with the hutch on top you don't lose a lot of storage space. The instructions are typical of "some assembly required"-style particle-board constructs. Of course, they are more detailed than, say, a bookshelf's, but that's to be expected. Total assembly took less than 5 hrs.The shallowness may pose a problem for some. There is VERY limited desk space in front of the monitor (we have a flat screen). Don't plan on using this as anything but a place to hold your computer, printer, phone, and wireless router. In other words, it's a computer station, not a workstation. Also, you may want to measure the depth of your computer tower and compare with the dimensions listed in the product description. The cabinet door wouldn't quite close with our computer in there (we just left the door off, no big deal to us).

This is a nice looking desk and my wife is very happy with its usefullness. It replaces a much larger desk which she used for 14 years, but her office is materially smaller, so after much research to find a reasonably priced desk, we settled on this one. Together, we have assembled many items in the past including bookcases, desks, TV cabinets, etc. As soon as we laid out the parts, it was clear that all the connectors were not the highest quality. The directions were very easy to understand, but once we got toward the end of assembly, there were several situations where putting in screws were quite cramped and almost impossible to do with a cordless screwdriver/drill. Have a short screwdriver available.Once assembled, I think it took close to 2 hours, it looks very nice. However, it is not a desk which will take a lot of load (due to materials and connectors). The top only has a recommended load of 25 pounds, so keep your gold elsewhere. Nevertheless, we are very happy with the purchase and you get a lot for the money. At the price range at which we bought it, I doubt we could get much more than 3 stars. Would we buy this again? Yes if we had the same space and the same budget.My wife, who uses it, says she would give it 4 Stars.

my husband spent hours, with this desk putting it together only to realize that the parts were not for this desk , brackets for the drawers were wrong and some of the pieces were the wrong size, bad enough that purolator dropped it off on the porch , and the desk weighs a ton, I couldnt even bring it in till later on that evening. so now we have contacted sauder to see if we can get the right parts. what a mess

Product was broken in corner and the lip or tongue was broken. We are very unsatisfied with the condition of this desk.We have taken all pieces out of the box in hopes of finding missing pieces, so that we can glue them on.But they were not in the box. We have other sauder peices in our home and have had no issues. However this is not exceptable.
