Great lighting upgrade.
I bought this to replace a old type fluorescent GR8 2 PIN BULB, it plugs straight into the original fitting, but to make it work one has to bypass the ballast on the old lamp fitting, turn of all current first, basic wiring safety knowledge is required, (ALWAYS TURN OFF ELECTRICITY AT THE MAINS, THE FITTING IS NOT DEAD JUST BECAUSE THE LIGHT SWITCH IS OFF) it's fairly easy to do, and would take a qualified electrician about 10 minutes, as a amateur it took me about 20 minutes after careful study of the wiring.There are plenty of youtube videos that show how to fit it. Remember once the Ballast is bypassed you won't be able to use the old type bulbs againAll up and running and the lamp works great, nice and bright instant start up, using only 12 watts and brighter than the old 28 watt lamp, and flicker free too.Led is the way to go with a promised much longer lifespan.

Two pins plugged in easy. Bright white LED lights.
The LED lights fitted easily. The two pins just clicked into place where the florescent D shaped tube pins once fit. The LED lights are much brighter than the florescent D bulb. The the LED light board is just a millimetre bigger than my shade.

AN EXCELLENT IMPROVEMEN TON THE OLD "D2 BULBS. THE LIGHT THEY GIVE OUT IS AT LEAST TWICE AS BRIGHT AND THEY USE LESS POWER. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. DELIVERY EARLIER THAN ESTIMATED, HAVE USED THIS SUPPLIER AGAIN.
