Bought as a replacement for the same model that was 14 years old and finally the springs broke and I couldn't find replacements. Works great, a bit noisy but since it controls the whole-house exhaust fan in the laundry room which is not occupied that much, it's not that big of a deal. I like the fact that the switch arms are metal since I have a couple of those other timers that rely only on depressing a segment of a plastic ring around the timer face. On those timers, I've found that every now and then, those little segments of plastic reset themselves possibly by the action of activating the on-off mechanism. This timer does not have that problem at all.

Easy installation it was a exact replacement of the other one that was installed. After 20 years one of the springs broke that tripped the lights off.

I got this as a replacement for the one that we had, for over 5 years, in our rental home, because, somehow, one of our tenants managed to break it. It works fine, but the only reason why I'm not giving it the 5 stars is because I don't like the loud click that it does when it reaches the "On" time.

A great way to ensure your outdoor lighting, such as post lamps, turns on and off at the desired times even when you are not home. The bad guys will think you are home when you are not. Easy to install and easy to set and use. This timer simply replaces the normal toggle switch on the wall.

I bought this to replace my old timer. Easy to instal and worked perfect for 2 months. One day I heard a loud click and the timer worked no more. The on off button is the only thing still working. Clock and activator both dead.

This was an easy install, all I had to do was turn off the circuit breaker to the device, remove the device off the wall, unplug the wiring, attach the new timer and connect the wiring, black wire to black wire, red wire to red wire and white wire to white wire. stick back in outlet, screw it in. Turn back on the electric and my bathroom fan was working again with the timer. Great price!!!

I had an identical timer for 26 years. It finally gave up and I am very fortunate to have found the same model again. It is so easy to install and program that it takes but a few minutes total. I never have to worry about power outage or dead battery because everything is mechanical. I can program it for three times a day and forget about it. It may not be most flexible one available but it is a steady one.

Sorry to say this light switch does not work, I am sorry I purchased it.
