This book is helping me live in "the shadow".
I read Lynn Eib's "When God and Cancer Meet" during cancer treatment and loved it. This book takes survivors further on in the journey and gives compassionate and practical help on how to cope with the what ifs. Lynn, a cancer survivor herself uses both humor and a deep faith in God to assures us all that, with the Lords help we CAN live joyful lives as cancer survivors, even if we all are a bit "paranoid"! I still have a little trouble with worry and anxiety, but everytime I read this book I am stronger and more faith-filled. It is one of three books which I own on Kindle and as a hard copy. It is truly that inspirational to me.Edit/update: I have been completely cancer free for 6 years now and still read this book yearly. My life is blessed and I barely even think about cancer in my day to day life. I no longer worry about it and am just an busy, active, happy, and joyful old lady!

Positive and Uplifting Boot for Cancer Patients
This is a really good book for anyone that is doing well with cancer treatment or in remission. The author is very open and frank about her experience/emotions that she and other cancer patients have gone through. She does a great job of "telling it like it is" and she uses humor mixed in to make it real. I would recommend this book to everyone that is past the initial shock phase of cancer treatment.

God IS bigger than cancer
"I don't care how big the cancer was, how small your cure odds are, how little time a doctor says you or your loved one has, I have a message for you: God is bigger than cancer and His light is brighter than cancer's shadow" is what she says in the first chapter. Just reading this sentence helped me with my fear and panic, and reading the book has comforted me so much because everything she addresses in it is so relevant to what I'm going through right now. A very encouraging book, truly inspired by God

What I'm facing now
Now that it's been weeks since my first treatment and now feeling the after affects (losing my hair, lose of energy) I just hope I have the strength to survive this and overcome these fears.

Good, upbeat book for the aftermath of cancer
It's nice to have a book about dealing with cancer that isn't a downer. I love good humor, and as an RN, am used to finding humor in things that really aren't funny… it's how I coped with leukemia. But after treatment, it's almost more stressful when any little thing comes up, and there are the lingering questions of "has it come back?"… Nice to have a book that deals with that.
