I wanted to play the flute but had no music theory experience. I started with an Ordinary Music Theory Book and Could not understand anything. Too many clef and notes. So I decided to look for a music theory book adapted for just the flute. This book has been a real lifesaver. No frustration, its sets everything out so that you understand everything perfectly. You are not inundated with other useless music theory. I know it would be to my benefit to study the whole theory but it mixed me up too much and I was not doing anything with my flute instrument. So when this book turned up I can now play 4 or 5 songs which makes me very happy. I know more theory from this book than what I learned from my previous piano theory book. So So happy
