I keep coming back to this product, just what I need for sensitive skin, works great!

I've been using the Pure Clean shampoo for years and it seems they must've changed the formula at some point, because the bottle is different and I noticed it now has "+ aloe extract" on the bottle. The old formula left my hair silky soft and moisturized, but this shampoo and conditioner combo somehow dries it out! It's baffling. Within a day my hair is crispy and thirsty after using this stuff. I have virgin 4C texture hair.I guess this just isn't for my hair texture. Pretty disappointed I have to find another shampoo after finding one that worked well for me for so long.

Smell is way, way too strong

Only received the conditioner, shampoo was not in the package.

On my constant quest for the perfect shampoo, I purchased this combo. I had used the 'original' Pure Clean shampoo/conditioner and always liked it..then it disappeared from shelves. I was glad to see this back on the shelf BUT the 'added aloe extract' made me wonder if it would as good as the original. It's NOT, at least for me anyway. It lathers and cleans well, but it left my hair too soft, too limp...the original gave me some oomph and body, this doesn't. My hair is on the 'thinnish' side and color treated., FYI. I think the aloe is just a gimmick. If you have hair on the dry side, it may work for you.

If you are looking for safe and affordable shampoo this is good. It doesn't leave hair as silky but its also non toxic so worth extra effort.
