I've tried a lot of GPS trackers on our company trucks, including the built in GPS trackers on Viper Alarm systems. Nothing comes close to these Bouncie units. They're dead accurate , with the moving depictions the vehicle only rivaled by Uber and Lyft apps. The vehicle location lags real time only by 5-10 seconds when in good cellular coverage areas. I was blown away by this systems performance, and I'm a critical techy reviewer. Installation and initialization was simple and elegantly designed. The only drawback I have found thus far is that this device is dependent on AT&T and T-Mobile's cellular network. As such, it stops tracking the vehicle in poor coverage areas, which for these two Networks, is pretty extensive in California.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I absolutely love this product. I do animal spay and neuter transports from florida to mississippi and this allows me to keep track of out transport van and the traffic flow so I can give a ore precise pick up time for clients. Its a big bonus for the extra feature that monitor collisions and motor functionality. I highly recommend. It is easy to set up and monitor

My daughter is a perfect driver when she drives me around but tends to go heavy on the gas when she thinks no one is watching. After a recent speeding ticket, I decided to look into tracking her vehicle.I originally purchased a highly rated GPS tracker here on Amazon but I quickly realized it wouldn’t provide me the level of integration I wanted to have with the car. She is hundreds of miles away in college and an OBD2 unit was the obvious choice for diagnostic. However, I did not want it to be too obvious. Luckily, Amazon also sells OBD2 Y cables that make it possible to hide the device while still keeping a fully functional factory-looking OBD2 port. Undetectable.Installation was a breeze; it took less than 10 minutes to change the port location, activate the unit and hide it out of the way. With that done, I returned the car to my daughter and let her know that I would ALWAYS be watching. The monitoring software is great and has tons of useful features. No false alerts so far.

I got this when by 16 year old got his license. It gives so many details including speed, hard stops, etc. It also gives fuel level and engine status, the check engine light came on and I was able to see exactly what was going on. It does way more than I expected.

This is my third tracker purchase and by far the best. It works well enough in rural areas, and especially well in areas with excellent cell coverage. In rural areas it notes when tracking is interrupted and resumes as soon as cell service returns. Some reviews complain about how large the unit is, but it’s smaller than the kayo it replaced.This one does not lock into place, but if it’s removed an alert is sent. Because it doesn’t lock, there may be situations where it’s not ideal. For my purposes it doesn’t really matter.
