Cute, easy read.

My elderly mother loves to read but she has dementia which means her attention span is very short. She has always had pets in her life so I have been buying dog and cat story books from this series for her. As with the others the stories are well written, engaging and short enough for quick reads. I carried the book around with me for a couple of days before taking it to her and found it was enjoyable reading whenever I had a few moments between appointments. Not overly sentimental and yet heartfelt. For me, the best thing is that my mother loves this book and has made it from beginning to end without getting frustrated. There is enough diversity in the stories to keep the reader entertained. I also learned some skills for dealing with habits in my own pets that drive me a little crazy. And certainly there were plenty of laughs.

....as good as all the other books in the series

I actually gave a copy of this book to each of my daughters, both of whom own dogs. But I asked the one daughter if she'd lend me the book to read, since I also like dogs. It only took me a couple hours to read it and I enjoyed each and every story. Some of the stories I could relate too as having dealt with similar issues with dogs I've had and the dogs my daughters each have. Its a wonderful book!

This is a good book for dog lovers - I easily saw my own beloved pooch in many of the antics I read about. I often laughed out loud or had a smile throughout the book. Tears came too, but many of these stories just solidified why dogs are man's (or woman's) best friend. Easy read.

Chicken Soup books just keep getting better and better! I bought this Kindle book from Amazon because I have a 20 month old Maltese pup who has eaten everything from SOS pads to the keypad off of my cell phone. I could so totally relate to every story in this book...it reminded me 101 times that every furball is indeed a man's best friend! This is one book that I am going to treasue forever!

This book is so good that I intend to buy it for my friends with a dog so that they can also enjoy it. I like the short story format, you never get bored. It was hard to put the book down. When I read the book at home I was able to pet and spoil my dog Chloe. This book really helped me have a positive attitude for the day.

This book is just as much fun to read as the one about the cat book. I would recommend this to everyone who hasa dog to read it. If a person is feeling down it will bring a smile to them. If you love dogs or cats buy these 2 books,they are great. They are worth every penny you spend on them. Happy reading.!~!~!

I've had dogs for most of my life, until I had to have my last dog put down, and every story in here reminded me of things I'd forgotten they all did. There were many stories that made me laugh and some that made me cry remebering my own loved dogs.I would recommend this book for any dog lover or if you know anyone who has or has had dogs this would make an excellent gift.

Love Chicken Soup books and I like this one but not as much of a page turner or tear jerker as some of the previous dog and cat ones.
