Holds my rear tire from spinning on the rim!
It holds my rear tire from spinning on the rim when I gas it up and roost dirt!

Rim lock
Seems ok. I'd rather have it for now then not. Used with Dunlop 606 tire and hd tube. Takes more weight for balancing of course if you ride on highway as well as dirt.

Total security
These weigh about an once more than the stockers. They are VERY well made, biting into the tire with cast aluminum teeth. I ride a 500cc two stroke (still) and only installed one. Then I went to the track, and forgot to check my tire pressure. I did a lap and a half, then crashed on a jump because the rear end stepped out. (Imagine that! LOL) I found that the valve stem was leaky, so my rear tire was completely flat from the start. The tire did not move on the rim AT ALL, with ONE of these rimlocks, on a 500 smoker with a flat tire! That's the best testimony I could possibly imagine. Replace your two rear stockers with one of these, less hassle with tire changes and your tire will never slip on the rim again.

You only get one
Just what I needed for my dirt bike restoration. I needed to read the description better, I was expecting two as pictured and as required on most dirt bike wheels. I guess I will be ordering another one.

Perfect fit
Fit perfectly and has a nice smooth finish, so no snags on the tube.

Works great!
I've already used them and they keep the tire from spinning on the rim with lower PSIs. Easy to install once you get the tire off. There are good youtube videos about installing these things.

Rim lock for KLR 650
I bought this to use on the rear wheel of my 2003 KLR 650 and it worked out just fine. before I had the rim lock on my bike I had the valve stem tear out of my tube which is why I bought the rim lock. While I always now make sure my tire pressure is correct, I think I'll always use rim locks on bikes with tubes as its a scary thought to apply your brakes and have a valve stem tear out and loose your tire pressure while your ridding.

Very heavy duty and was not that heavy.
The rimlock was very high quality. I expect it to last through many tires before the rubber deteriorates. It is heavier than some styles but I have no concern with this type of rim lock braking during the install or use.

No tire slipage
They seem to work as suggested. I did end up adding a tire balancing gel in the tubes to take the bounce out. Did the trick. Don't expect to use them without balancing unless you don't ride roads. I only used 1/2 the torque they suggested.
