I bought two of these pillow covers for a couple of extra large body pillows I use. I love the size of my body pillows but have been unhappy with the fact that the type I bought have a cover that is not removable and is rather scratchy. I have been using the pillows with makeshift covers using old sheets which hasn't worked too well and washing the pillows when needed. Washing the pillows is ridiculously difficult because of their size so I really wanted to cut down on the frequency of the pillow washing, but I had a difficult time trying to find covers for the pillows. I did buy some extra long pillow cases, but found they came partially off in the bed frequently so the pillow itself still picked up pet hair (couple of dogs share the bed) and exposed me to the rough cover. This pillow cover is just what I needed and so far I am very satisfied. I haven't had these long, but have washed them a couple times and they have come through the washer and dryer with no trouble - fabric and zipper good as new after a couple of launderings. They certainly appear to be made well - seams are tight, no stray threads, etc. Since these pillow covers zip and the fabric is fairly heavy, I think they would be useful for anyone with dust allergies. They are large enough to fit even a bulky 6 ft pillow and slide on and off the pillow surprisingly easily. In addition, my very sensitive skin has no issues with the fabric - it's soft and smooth. If they hold up well for a couple of years, I might change my rating to 5 stars - took off a star just because they are a little pricey for pillow covers. However, I could not find what I needed anywhere else and if the covers hold up well long term they would be worth the price.

Same great quality and feel. The color is very deep and rich, I would almost say there is a touch of deep purple in it. The Purple one I bought previously has held up very well through repeated washings. Love them!*****PRO TIP!!!*****For everyone who is having issues getting the pillowcase on a 20x72 body pillow, here's the trick I have been using for years.If I am by myself, I get two super heavy duty large binder clips I keep just for this purpose. If I have someone else around, I use their hands. :)Turn the pillowcase inside out, and get the edge seams and corners lined up with the end of the pillow. Now, you want to get either the binder clips or the other person's hands holding the corners of the case securely to the corners of the pillow.Once the corners are matched up and secured, then you start turning the pillowcase the right way out, all the way down the length of the pillow - making sure the seams stay straight on the sides as you roll it down.This trick works great on regular size pilows, too. With regular size pillows I don't use clips. I just turn the pillow case inside out, stick my hands in, grab the corners of the pillow, and turn the case back right side out.

I bought two (2) 20 x 60 inch body pillows online and I was shocked when it did not come with a pillowcase. So I went back on the same website to see if they have pillowcases for it, but they did not. I knew Amazon wouldn't let me down so I searched and found exactly what I was looking for! I bought the pillow cases and was pleasantly surprised when I found out it had a zipper on the end! It is a struggle by itself just to get the body pillow in the pillowcase and trying to keep it in there is a whole nother struggle. The zipper prevents me from having to worry about the pillow coming out! YAY!

After washing this once or twice, a lot of threads on the inside started coming loose. I suggest either hand-washing or putting it in a delicates bag to keep the threads from getting rubbed loose or snagged on other stuff in your washer and dryer.

I really like this case. I like the zippers and the side seam is double like a jeans seam, but not flat. I got the 72 inch case for a sixty inch body pillow because you are supposed to get a case six inches longer than the pillow, but I couldn't find a 66 inch case. The pillow was actually about 53 inches long because, I guess, they measure the fabric before they stuff the pillow full of filling. No worries, the case fit just fine, with about three inches of empty case at each end of the pillow.

If you are looking for something soft to lay your head against this is not the pillowcase for you. However I give it a 4 because it completely stopped the annoying feathers from poking out of my pillow and jamming themselves into my body. Size is also as described but does take a lot of maneuvering to get pillow in to zip it up.
