Yes, this is my second one and I use them for things other than serving fish. I have several other pieces of Pillivuyt and love them all.

I use this dish to serve lobster tails for a party platter and it is awesome. Very subtle and impressive.

Functional, as well as beautiful
I bought my first one of these from WS, and found it absolutely perfect for serving a dressed salad, roasted veggies, rolls, sliced meat, etc. It’s so practical I bought two more. The design fits well with any of my dinnerware. I get so many compliments on how beautiful the food looks displayed on these platters. They hold a nice amount of food, so I don’t have to keep going back to refill it. I put these in the dishwasher from time to time, and have not had any problems. These are a good quality French porcelain so they’re fired at a higher temp making them very durable. I have not had any chipping or crazing on these platters. The rims are not thin so no worries about chips.
