I have to say that I was disappointed in this book. There are alot of pictures from the past of the town but alot more could have been said in the writing. It was not what I expected and as I skipped through it, there could have been alot of interiews from people who are still there and their families have lived there forever who could have told some good stories. If anything is to be said about theNorth Country, there are alot of old stories that are very interesting and would deserve to be told. But I don't believe the authors have the expertise in writing books like this.

Beautiful pictures with insiteful historical information, I will enjoy this book again and again, not to mention the picture of the grandfather and uncles I never had the chance to meet.
