1970 spin bike for 10x the price!
Bike itself is okay, similar to $500 dumb bikes, so 2 stars for that.. Everything electronic is junk, especially app, which won't connect or save workouts, and still REQUIRES stalking your phone location. Also the ANT+ power and cadence are so slow that they drop out if you eavesdrop with anything other than the illegible display that auto-deletes everything when you stop pedaling.Update: after the warranty runs out, the thing won't even broadcast power/cadence to keep the display from going to sleep or run some other computer, so it is more like one of those airdynes with ZERO data, except without the fan.

TOP QUALITY! Works with ZWIFT and Trainer Road with a $50 dongle!
The person who wrote the review above about it being a 1970's bike clearly hasn't ridden a chain-drive spin bike from the 1990's into early 2000's. Those are loud, loud, loud. Nor has this person probably actually ridden a $500 bike with this one next to it to compare. It will be night and day! Trust me. This bike is built for GYMS! The bike is super QUIET because it is magnetic belt drive. It is incredibly SMOOTH. Yes, the computer on the IC5 is older, but if you want the newer computer then you have to dish out more money. That's just the way it is with anything that has differently priced versions. More options = more money. To solve the issue of being "chained" to the IC5 app, and wanting to save workouts, I bought a $50 dongle that lets me connect to ZWIFT and Trainer Road which is are stellar training apps. The only reason I needed that dongle was so that I could also wear a heart rate monitor. I never get dropped from my ZWIFT rides because of the bike computer. It works flawlessly. If you want to use Peloton you can, but you won't have the Peloton interface to connect to other riders in the live classes. I was ok with this because I don't need to see my stats next to other people spinning in the classes. So basically I just paid the monthly app subscription for Peloton on my iPhone and rode the vide library classes on my own.Summary:This is an excellent quality bike.A great option to the Keiser and Peloton bikes.
