LEGO Harry Potter Ultimate Sticker Collection: More Than 1,000 Stickers

For young Lego Harry Potter fans, this sticker collection should keep them amused for quite some time, and even though it's not hardback, the book itself is the usual excellent quality that you'd expect from Dorling Kindersley. Just as it says on the cover, there's over 1,000 stickers, but with many of them being very small, and included as extras for decorative features on other things aside from the book itself. When opened up, many of the pages within have been designed to actively engage with the Lego Wizarding World releases from 2018, and although the book makes a nice standalone gift, it has clearly been published to compliment the Lego sets represented, such as the Hogwarts Great Hall, the Hogwarts Express, Aragog's Lair, the Whomping Willow, and the Quidditch Match, among others.

The book is made of quality paper and the stickers easy to peel and apply.My seven year old grand daughter found the words clear to read.

As a concept, this is a great idea for a sticker book, although it does seem like it's a ploy to get you to buy the LEGO sets that are featured in it! It's a bit of a pain to put the stickers in place, as the sticker pages are attached to the book by the spine. This means you end up flicking back and forth to the pages, or as we did, you end up cutting the sticker pages out of the book! The stickers are in a random order so it can be frustrating to find the right one for the page you're on. This could be a positive though as it keeps you concentrating. Stickers with designated places are labeled on the sticker pages so this helps. There are a lot of extra stickers, which will probably appeal to younger children who will enjoy sticking them all over the place, but could be frustrating for parents! Lots of the extra stickers are tiny square ones, so don't get too excited about the 'more than 1000 stickers'. Not the most exciting sticker placements either, compared with other sticker albums we've had. There are 2 double page spreads that you can use to make your own scenes with the extra stickers that you are given, however these are slightly ruined as every sticker has a white background around them, so they don't blend into the scene very well. It doesn't include any of the new in 2019 sets, so don't worry that your children will be wanting all the newest stuff.

It's a Christmas stocking filler do grandson hasn't received it yet, but it looks a good quality book and has plenty of content. Thank you.
