I don’t normally leave reviews but on this occasion it would be totally unfair not toIn short, the CCTV system is excellent , but more importantly the support provided from Milly from TonTon is fantasticI had been looking for an 8 channel CCTV system for our holiday home for months. I wanted something to keep check on the property when we weren’t there. I preferred a POE system but running all the cables back to the NVR wasn’t practical so decided I needed WiFi cameras but with a dedicated power supply as I wouldn’t be able to keep charging the camera batteries.I looked at other makes first such as Arlo, Swann, Ring etc, but the reviews of those threw doubt on the reliability of the WiFi connection and many relied on SD cards in the camera or cloud based storage, which isn’t much use if the internet connection drops out.I then came across TonTon. Never heard of them !!.After reading the reviews and seeing the price , I thought I’d give it a go ,and if the system wasn’t any good , it wouldn’t be a £1000 mistake !!The system is excellent. Easy to setup and the configuration of each camera for trigger area and sensitivity is easy also.The cameras are only 2MP,but as I was only after a good picture up-to 10m away they provide very clear pictures day and night. The WiFi connection between camera and NVR is very reliable and if you have one camera a little further away you can use one of the other cameras as a repeater.It helps if you have some IT knowledge, but even if you are a complete novice , this is where the technical support from Milly at TonTon is just brilliantMilly communicates via WhatsApp and is very responsive to questions despite the time difference between uk and China.I released there was a new firmware upgrade so messagedMilly requesting an upgrade. Within a couple of hours she had emailed the upgrade to me.I also had a few queries regarding some of the camera settings and the iPhone App. After a short WhatsApp conversation Milly had resolved my camera query and she passed on the IPhone App issue to the Technical team who resolved the problem and released the new app version to the Apple AppStore within 24hours.I can’t praise Milly enough and she is a credit to the company she works for.I release this review is a bit verbose!, but credit where credit is due.I would highly recommend the TonTon range of products and their support services

Good quality picture (both night and day). Relatively easy install. Each camera needs power to it and the power cable needs about a 1/2 inch clearance for cable to pass through. One of the cameras did stop working after a few months but was replaced without any hassle. So the customer service is excellent, pleasant and responsive. The app is very handy to check while away. Overall I'm very happy with the system.

***Update*** a second camera has gone down and just stopped working for no apparent reason. All cables are perfect and no reason for it to stop. Total waste of money!this system for a year now and wish I got something else. The picture quality isnt that great, the setup was relatively easy but I had to ask for help (I work in IT so not completely new to tech).The worst part was when a camera stopped working 11 months in, just dead without warning. Amazon refused to send me a replacement camera, they wanted the whole system taken down and sent back (camera on high walls, cabling, the lot!) And the manufacturer as well as the resellers have washed their hands of it and said I need to speak to Amazon.I truly believe this system wasnt designed to last, especially when you see a camera die and all the manufacturers dont even offer to fix it.Save your money, buy something else.

I bought this product a couple of months ago and I must say this is an amazing system. It is easy to setup and install despite having no previous experience in this field. I had a number of queries in the early days as the instruction booklet isn’t particularly clear and had to contact Tonton and they said they would address this issue. I must say Milly at Tonton has been an absolute star, answering so many questions that I had in the early days and all made easy by contact via WhatsApp and every time responded very quickly!You will have to order extension cables for the cameras as only come with a 6ft lead. I also ordered an IPC router extender as suggested by Milly to overcome an issue with Wi-Fi coverage on one of the cameras which worked a treat!The picture quality from the cameras is fantastic also, especially for the price.I would highly recommend this product.

Had a couple of systems now, but this has been the easiest to setup. I contacted customer support before I purchased, to enquire about software used on a PC and had a reply from Milly, very quick to respond. This system uses stand alone software to run on a computer and this was a main feature for me. I have had other systems, which use plug-ins in a browser and never 100% working. Customer support, (Milly) has been quick to respond to questions I have had. Night images are very clear and sharp. This is my 4th system and by far the best so far and a company that wants to help.

I have purchased two cctv kits from Tonton, one for my Home and one for my work premises. I found them very easy to fit and set up with no problems. However I did have a problem with the hard drive on one of them it wouldn't record, so I reported fault to Tonton via Amazon the only problem then was that everything had to go through amazon the removed email addresses etc. So I contacted them directly by email, Abby from Tonton responded very quickly we soon had a new hard drive fitted and now is all good.
