Makes a big improvement
Required something to increase the level of grip on a new pair of shoes (after slipping and falling down some stairs!) Getting new soles attached at a shoe repair shop was too expensive, so I tried to do it myself and got good results.I have been using the shoes for a week now with no problems. The repair soles have stayed on and I have very good grip.Things to note :- It's just over 1mm thick. But that's some good rubber (Vibram is one of best - it's used on good hiking shoes) and I see a noticeable improvement, even on wet surfaces.- It's large enough for size UK12 shoes. It wont completely cover the soles of pointy-type UK12 shoes, but covers enough (see below)How I stuck them on :- Used some sandpaper to roughen the sole of my new pair of shoes (it was already a little rough after some initial use)- Used a cheap paint brush to remove any dirt from the sole.- Placed the repair sole on the shoe and marked the outline with a pen (My shoes are more pointy than the repair soles so I just judged where the shoes would most contact the ground and marked this area out)- Used the paintbrush to spread general all-purpose glue on the surface of the shoe (within the marked area) and on the surface of the repair soles- Left the two exposed to air for 10 minutes- Pressed them together for a few minutes (be careful of trapping air bubbles)- Put the shoes on and stood on it too just to get any small trapped air bubbles out.- Let it dry for a day.

Not big enough!
These soles barely covered my size 10.5 mens shoes, normal width. I don't think they would cover a size 12. Beware.Update 4/2/2020. Soles are still on. Glued them with E6000+. This isn't a contact adhesive so used some thick rubber bands (from Rymans - a UK high st stationery store) which did the job. Left them to cure for a day. Gorilla Glue Original might not work as it's a foaming glue and isn't flexible.

Perfect for repairing my training shoes
Thin but strong - I used these to repair my expensive trainers which had worn through on one side. I simply cut a patch to fit neatly and stuck on with araldite. Should let me get another 150km at least out of them

Thin soles
I expected these to be thicker but they are really thin.

Not exactly what was expected! It's states on here ...
Not exactly what was expected! It's states on here that the product was 'new in packaging'. When the product arrived it was just 2 red soles in a bag. There was no adhesive and no instructions on how to apply them. I'd bought the red soles to discreetly cover up the soles of my louboutins but the soles are a different colour and the manufacturers name is printed as grip all over the bottom so I won't be using them.
