Well designed, sturdy but lightweight. A perfect fit. The tension in the leaf spring that holds the multi tool in place is ideal, and the design fits the tool like a glove. The edges are folded back so there's no sharp edges, and the hex nut drivers are a nice touch. I can slip the tool in and out of the sheath without looking with one hand, and it stays firmly on my belt. Couldn't have asked for a better sheath for my MP600. The nylon sheath wore out years ago, and I've tried different sheaths, such as .22 magazine sheaths, but this one looks built to last. I want one for my other multi pliers too (MP400 and leatherman wave).

This things awesome. I read alot of reviews before I bought it. Most of the less favorable ones were due to people not using it properly or for the correct tool. I havnt had it long so I guess we will find out about its durability but it seems to be everything its supposed to be! Im not dissapointed. Ill be looking for more from this company.

I received my Gerber as a gift at my Eagle scout court of honor and have had it at my hip ever since (approx 20 years). In that time I have gone through more than one or two cases/holders. All of them have disappointed within a year or two needing patching, sewing or replaced. This one, being metal, seems like it will stand the test of time. I have only had it and been using for several weeks now and I would say it is almost perfect. What's not to like about a holder for your multi-tool that is itself multi functional?! I have zero fear of my tool coming out of the holder I give 4 stars only because the tension bar on the inside needs to be wider. My old, worn tool which has acquired a bit of slop over the years often gets hung up when extracting or inserting. Aside from that, great piece!UPDATE: Seem to be getting the tool in the holster at just the right odd angles and getting hung-up frequently.

This is hands down the coolest sheath I’ve ever had. I just received mine today and I love it, I ordered mine to carry everyday, 1.5in clip is perfect for street clothes, my brother is ordering one for his bunker gear after seeing mine. Way better than the Velcro sheath that came with the gerber, I would recommend this to anyone with this multi-tool.

It hangs up really bad on putting the pliers in and pulling them out. Far far more often than not, the entire holder comes off my belt with the pliers, then making it a 2 handed job to pull the pliers out that requires lots of wiggling and pulling. Additionally, it has a way of removing the black steel retainer clip on the pliers that holds in the locking button and spring on the pliers, instantly rendering the pliers completely useless and thus resulting in tossing the pliers in the trash. I will be looking for the old nylon sheath with the velcro fastner on the top

The Gerber locks in does not rattle. When used with molle webbing, I found that putting the bottom of the holster under the molle keeps it from moving around.

Good idea but almost impossible to use one handed does not slide put smoothly have to force it

This is very well made unfortunately I find that the holes on either side sometimes cause the tool to get hung up. I’ve also had two occasions where the tool got wedged in the holster. Also the spring marks up your tool pretty quickly. I think I’ll stick with Jude or leather.
