This past winter when it got to 0* for a few days & we had 2 back to back winter storms, my neighbors tractor wouldn’t start due to gelling. I use this ever tank all 4 seasons and my tractor stated right up to plow driveways after the big winter storms. It definitely works! Also lubricates ulta low sulfer fuel. Don’t believe that your diesel doesn’t need this. After the fact it’s to late & you’ve ruined your $10,000 eng. Just get it & use it every tank @ 1oz per 7 gal & you’re good to go

I have a 855 big cam III cummins and they are collllddd blooded. Now with schafers in her she starts easily in a couple seconds without block heater and ether.All other brands of diesel additive would still require block heater and ether, so needless to say this stuff is the real deal.

A great value due to mix ratio of one gallon product to 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel. Can't beat value with all the benefits of product. However, I currently can only give 4 stars as I am not seeing an increase of power or fuel economy. Still Winter here in Berkshire County MA with near single digit temps over night so probably not the best environment to evaluate a diesel fuel additive. I can say cold start up is excellent, as well as warm up and on road performance. All of which were great with previously used Opti-Lube XPD.

Your diesel system needs lubricity! The lubricity was stolen from diesel fuel because of today's emissions standards. I choose Schaeffer to help with this issue.I am a trucker, and a former diesel mechanic in the US Army.

Still had hard starting in below-20 winter weather. I tried Howes 103062 'Diesel Treat' and it worked, also costs much less and can use it year round.

I put 4 ounces into my diesel engine and it seems to have a little bit more power, I hope it’s not my imagination. I think it’s worth a try. I also have my mechanic change my oil and put in Schaffer 15 W 40. I was losing oil pressure with other products and this seems to be increasing my oil pressure to where it should be. We’ll see what happens
