it is great! It does not come with instructions but luckily the Wires are labeled. Google the Rugged Ridge sound bar and you can get the Install instructions they are pretty basic but still nice to put eyes on. Now Remember, this is a 170 dollar sound bar. it is not going to sound like a crazy professional system. Mine is in a 92 Wrangler S and that is far from being quiet inside as is but having a couple extra decent quality speakers really makes a load of difference.I attached the install instructions in the pictures, just be ware the Wire colors will most likely be different! make sure to get wiring diagram for the head unit as well.

the only reason I'm giving this product 2 stars is because of the fact that it looks nice and pretty. I've never written a review for a product but i'm so disgusted with this that i decided to let people know to STAY AWAY. after spending 2 hours wiring it because it didn't come with anything other than a piece of paper showing the general area where the sound bar wiring in my jeep was, the left 3 speakers didn't work, and the right speakers when the base hit clanged. like they were taped together. along with all of that, the holes to screw onto the roll bar didn't line up, and the placement of the male wire connector on the sound bar was DIRECTLY in the way of the roll bar, so you had to wedge the opposite end in. Definitely choose something else along the lines of products to improve sound quality in your jeep. Rugged Ridge is a brand to stay away from.

Installation was as simple as I expected it to be. The most difficult part is running the wires and connecting them to the sound system. If you're comfortable with that, then installation is quite simple. In my case however, the screws it came with to attach the mounting bracket to the roll bar was too small. The threads didn't grab at all so I had to get 4 screws from a local hardware store.Also, the quality of the speakers really does leave a little to be desired. They aren't terrible, but they are barely adequate in my opinion. They really can't handle much bass at all, so they end up sounding a little hollow. it's nothing I can't live with until I blow them and then replace the speakers with better ones :)Overall, i'd say that the $200 I paid for them was a bit much compared to their quality. But, if you can't find something better, it's a good starting point. I really do like having the bar above our heads, that part works out nicely.PS - The dome lights aren't as bad as people have made them out to be. In my opinion, they are adequate, not wow, but adequate.

i have yet to install this product because it has been misrepresented. It has no upholstery on it . It has only a hard plastic finish with metal mounting plates. No upholstery to cover those either.
