I have fine curly hair, and lately I have been into a lot of research concerning which products will help it grow stronger and healthier. After deciding to try no-sulfates no-silicones no-parabens for a month, this was the first product I purchased. I intended it to be used as a shampoo, but after smelling how utterly divine it is and feeling it sink into my skin so well, I adapted it as my body wash too.Be warned - you're not going to get the squeaky-clean feeling you might desire/expect. The consistency feels quite oil-based. But this certainly is an effective cleanser and my skin feels lovely, soft and fresh post-shower. This is absolutely fabulous for the hair - sometimes I think I do not need conditioner after applying this, working it into my scalp, and rinsing. My hair becomes so silky!The smell is ridiculously good. It's like the samples you're provided at the St. Regis. Fancy, exquisite and expensive. "Nectar" does the product justice.Seriously worth it. I will be repurchasing and I look forward to trying the Davines multi-purpose balm!!Last thought - this product does stings my eyes when I wash out my shampoo... so please be careful!

I love the Davines line, and so far I’ve only used this as a body wash but I plan to alternate it with the Curl Cleansing Creme for hair, too. It’s such a nice scent and left my skin so soft! The bottle looks small for the price but I think it’ll last a while because you only need a small amount for a good lather. I’ll definitely buy this again!

An interesting product which I don't use it on my hair but more as a body wash. You can tell it has a higher oil content than most body washes but don't let this fool you. You don't walk out of the shower greasy and in these winter months I still use moisturizer in addition to this. As I use it in the shower, this product doesn't leave an oil slick behind either. It has a light moisture and it defiantly isn't stripping. Don't think this thing is a lather monster because it isn't. Bubbles don't equal clean and this product does the job without the fluff and fuss. It does have a light scent to it which I believe to be orange blossom. Sometimes this scent can smell very pickle-esque and in this doesn't. Its pleasant and it doesn't linger. So if you are like me and wear A LOT of fragrances and you don't want your beauty products to clash, this is a safe product!I do think that if you were to use this as a daily shampoo you might face build up quickly. Not sure but that's my take without using it as such. I do love Davnes' shampoos (I use Love) and it is wonderful, It cleans and my hair feels wonderful, not stripped, every time.

I recently have been trying to take better care of my curly hair, and had been looking into either very gentle shampoo or slightly cleansing conditioners. This seemed to be the perfect middle ground, and I was not disappointed. Cleaning without stripping, but tough enough that I can get by just using this every other day without needing a stronger stripping shampoo.Also, it smells and feels great. It's easily just as effective as soap for cleaning my body, without drying out my skin. It makes me feel pampered without too high of a price point.

It is nice to have a shampoo that is ultra gentle on your hair. You really don't need to wash your hair that often and when you do, it doesn't require tons of suds. This is so gentle on my color treated hair, that it is now part of my permanent regimen.

Davines products smell very, very nice as a whole but this stench is a “swing and a miss” for them. For me, there’s no other way to describe the scent except stink. There’s no way I want that scent around me, let alone on me. Maybe they were trying for something earthy and floral? Maybe I received a bad bottle or batch as there was not safety seal of some sort used. I’d give zero stars if that were an option. Very, very disappointed; waste of money.

The description said it smelled really good...uh not so much, not bad just not good. The prepackaging is difficult to handle, it is pretty runny with a screw cap so...spills happen. It is also in my opinion very over priced, would not recommend.

I use a dandruff shampoo once or twice a week to control dry, flaking scalp. In between, I have tried countless shampoos, but still have to use a scalp treatment.I took a gamble and ordered Davines shampoo to use between the scalp medication, and to my surprise, I found out that I could skip the scalp medication(physician prescribed)and the dryness and inflammation did not return. It is a pricey shampoo, but it smells great and for over a year now the inflammation has not returned. Will it work for you?Can't promise, but it's cost is cheaper than prescription shampoo, and it smells great.

This Davine product is great it leaves my hair squeaky clean I have very fine hair so was a little worried with the name including Body Oil in its descriptionBut its not at all oily........Great Product

It gathers and emphasizes my curls.Other sulfate free shampoos strips my fine hair. That is; it is very gentle jet effective.But since it does not lather that much, you use more than other expensive shampoos.Still my favorit for my fine and ligthly dry hair.
