(Size small vs size medium. Size 9 shoe for reference)I first bought size small and as you can see it is much smaller than a medium. The small might be good for a pet hampster. I bought it for my 4 month old kitten to keep him safe when I’m not home, and the small is definitely too small. If you’re on the fence go for the medium. Otherwise it’s great quality and seems very durable. The material is thick like a duffel bag and doesn’t seem like it will tear easily.

My 12 year old dachshund is afraid to go outside on our deck in the summer as she fears bees, flies, anything flying around. When we sit outside she wants to be with us but won't venture out. We set this playpen up & put in her favorite toys & blankies. We placed her in it & she calmed down immediately & fell asleep. Then before we went to bed last nite we couldn't find her....she had crawled into it and was sleeping soundly in it (she always has "her couch" in the den which she claimed to sleep on.) This is one of the BEST things we ever bought for Casey....

Great purchase! I traveled for three days with two cats. I used this playpen in the hotel for two nights. It worked very well. Big enough for the litter box, two food dishes and a water dish. The cats made a big mess of things but it all washed off after we reached our destination. Now I’m using it as an outdoor playpen on the deck. Very happy with this purchase. The cats really love it and having this lets me relax a bit knowing if I need to travel again, this will be a lifesaver.

Well, I like the small size for a bedtime pen. We use the next size up as a daytime pen. The small one had a tear in the pocket the first one. The bed is all that fits in the small one and the bigger one fits my two small kids, toys, and the puppy or lots of puppy stuff, puppy pad, and the puppy.

I use these playpens for my foster kittens when the are bottle babies until 2 or 3 months old until they are big enough to be safe in their kitten cages. These are the sturdiest portable pens I have used. The side panels are thick and well made. No damage from little kittens crawling up the sides either.

Update: Took it to the state fair and so much easier to carry than the big metal crates. Left the top of when we were in the hotel so our dog could look over, but at the fair simply attached top and bottom for extra protection. Our friends' dog used it too as it offered some darkness and helped his anxiety. ....Dogs went right in along with the two kids, so I'm going to say plenty of room. Not small dogs, and not little kids. Putting it away was a little more complicated than opening it, but I think with practice we will get better.

I love this little playpen. I’m using it now for my French bulldog puppies in my living room when they’re napping and to play in while the bigger dogs are out. They love being able to see the big dogs but are protected from them while they’re so little. It’s a perfect size for them and is nicely made. It also stores easily and for the price you just can’t beat it. Very satisfied.

Actually ordered it for my bearded dragon. He loves it. He can safely move around in it. I love that I can see him from all sides.
