Condition notes were very accurate, it arrived in much better condition than I expected. It arrived in proper bubble style manila envelope within delivery window timeline. Very happy with this seller.

Bathroom book.
No complaints. Variety in artwork, some good and some not great, but all unique. Each page contains one urban legend, so if the art style used nauseates you, you don't have to read for long until it changes. This book was published in the mid-nineties, so some of these legends might not even seem all that plausible to younger readers. Nobody has a cell phone, computer, etc...Great bathroom read.

Fantastic
This book scared the crap out of me as a kid. Bought it again hoping for a nostalgia kick... it's still creepy, all right.At the time, I didn't know beans about DC comics- if you're familiar with them, you'll recognize a lot of the artist's styles from approx. the last 20 years of Batman. If you'd like something familiar but unnerving, this is great pick.

Every one of these "Big Book OF" books is really great. I hope to own all of them someday, I do have many of them but not all. They are written and illustrated very well, by some of the top comic book illustrators. Very very entertaining.

I rented this book from the library when I was young and loved the different styles of comics included. The different urban legends are great. My favorite story is the spiders nest in the girls beehived hair.

Written in the form of a B&W comic book
I didn't know at the time I ordered this but was happy to find out that this entire book is written in the form of a Black & White comic book.

Great Source for Campfire Tales and Stories To tell on the Road
So I got this book because I heard from a cousin's friends brother that these stories were true. We have all heard those stories and here is a chance to read over 200 of them in illustrated comic book format. This is a great source to gather stories to tell at a Campfire or on a long road trip, but we have all heard them from a friend of a friend or cousin's neighbor's brother.. well you get the drift. They are stories too good to be true that They've become Urban Legends..

Extraordinario libro
Una forma diferente de presentar muchas de las leyendas urbanas más conocidas. Gracias a los cómics realizados por diversos reconocidos dibujantes, y guiados por la mano del siempre genial Jan Harold Brunvand, The Big Book of Urban Legends es uno de esos libros que ningún interesado en estos temas puede dejar de tener. Sobre el envío, nada que decir: veloz y eficiente.

En formato de novela gráfica, hay entretenimiento para rato. Una estrella menos por el estado del libro, comprado de segunda mano, está un poco más estropeado de lo esperado.
