Messianic Daily Devotional: Messianic Jewish Devotionals for a Deeper Walk with Yeshua

My husband and I both have this devotional. We study it through and repeat each year. We have bought several for friends. One of the best and most anointed reads. We make notes and date them so we remember our lessons and blessings.

Only one thing I didn't like: Under the 'Sacred Name" I agree No One really know how to say the name correctly, BUT they could have written it out in Hebrew, because even you used YHVH or YHWH, those believe different, like I tried to find if there Ever was a W sound in Hebrew, the rabbi's in Israel said: "NO" and when listening to Hebrew, you will never hear a W sound, as V'shamroo and there are a few words that do have a VAV in the middle that start the 2nd half of the word with a V sound, so just using the Hebrew letters. Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey, it would be better than Adonai and way better than HaShem which must means: "The Name" only. Why use it at all? Because Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey said to! It's use from Gen.2 to the end of Mal. and in Exodus He told Moses (Moshe) that He wanted His Name published through out the assembly! So do we do what YAH says or man? You could even just use YAH, that's in the Psalms. I can understand not saying it write, but that;s not a sin as the rabbis say it is, what does His Word say is what's important! Correct? Also many people say: you're being Legalistic, does anyone know what this word really means? It means to be Legal, Right, Righteous, just look it up, it is the very same word in the New Testament as Righteous! But the Book is good, and the only Messianic Daily Devotional out that I know of! And so thanks! But no two people will agree on all things, so even if you don't change the Adonai to Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey, or YHVH, it's still a good book, had the names, it be a Great Book! I have been reading from this devotional during my morning oblations... it has really helped me to put things into perspective before I head out into the world. While I am not a "Sacred Namer" I am among those who treasure our Father's Name and appreciate seeing it (In Hebrew) in the text,The Name issue aside - I still believe this to be by far the best devotional out there. A Kevin has a gift for putting the words of Abba YHWH and His Mashiyach into a context and a perspective that can be directly applied to our daily walk. Todah ahki Kevin.

This book speaks the truth, and the writer uses quotes from the Holy Bible. The writer makes sense to what didn’t make sense to me before. I will purchase more of this writers books.

Christian or Messianic, this is the best devotional I've come across in a long time. Very insightful on many levels. I've been through it about four times now and still keep seeing new things in the author's words. Have given a few out to friends and relatives.

Devotional is a good way to start your day , but if you're not should how this is a book that can help you find your way though it is great for Messianic Jewish to kept on track that kept them in the way of the lord each and everyday.
