All good
Works how it should, the connecting plugs are a god send as when the blower motor resister card fails it generally burns the plugs, would recommend

This cured our Nissan Note heater fan problem
This was fitted to my Nissan Note, 2011 vintage. Having had similar ‘symptoms’ in the past with car heaters on different models not working or rather the blower fan not so doing, I basically knew/had a feeling that it would be the motor resistor that was at fault. They either work or they don’t - it’s that simple. So it was a process of elimination as start with the resister replacement (I have never come across a process so far for the layman to use, or try, that can determine if it has failed or not) but this at less than twenty quid, at the time of writing this review, seemed ideal - more so when compared with Nissan dealer prices. It arrived quickly via Amazon (thank you!) and following videos on YouTube and comments online I took the glovebox out - held in by 5 crosshead type screws - and then spotted the resistor, held in by two accessible 2 x size 20 Torx fitting screws holding it in. Carefully removed the two (colour Green) plug connecters with a small flat bladed screwdriver, then wiggled the old resister out. Replacement was a reverse. Before I screwed it in, I switched the heater on and yes! - it worked! Then I switched it off once confirmed it had cured it, then screwed it in followed by the glovebox. Job done. It took about 20 or 25 minutes all in and that was ‘venturing into the unknown’ but suspect a mechanic could do it in about ten minutes at a guess. I have included a photo of the connectors on the old one and judging by comments online, you will note the discoloration (and distortion) on the far right side, two pin section that one is slightly discoloured at the base as apparently they overheat over time so I am lead to believe. Otherwise a nice item as yes, we have heat back once more! Hope the above is of help.

Definitely try if your heating has gone in your Nissan note
So glad that I done a little research and found out that this could be the problem with my cars heating not working. So thought why not give it a go. I ordered a little ratchet kit aswell as you need an Alan key to undo the screws that hold it in place once you remove the glove box.Definitely value for money would have cost a lot more going into the garage to be fixed but was able to do it myself.

Heater resistor for Nissan Note
Changed part on Nissan Note 12 plate. Easy to swap part out literally just plug in. Didn't use the wiring it came with. Worked straight away. Changed part myself so saved a costly garage visit.

It works, I suppose. Sort of.
Renault Mégane Scénic Dynamiqué Plus 2002 (52, facelift). This part fits many other models, but I don't own any other models that needed this part, so I can't comment on those.PROS:- From an electrical perspective, it makes the fan spin. This is a large improvement over the fan not spinning.- This part has a low barrier to entry financially (£15.99 in September 2020) in case you're not sure if it's the resistor or another part that's at fault. You even get a new loom! What value!CONS:- The plastic casing the board and heatsink sit in doesn't fit the mounting hole correctly. After much sanding of hard plastic edges I gave up, took the board and heatsink out of the casing, and used the original (Valeo) part's casing. This resolved the issue, but should never have been necessary.- Tiny gradient in fan speed settings. It's either barely on, a bit more on, or somewhat on. Actually seems to drive the fan faster at middle speeds than at top speed. Haven't checked with an oscilloscope but I assume the fan speed is driven by simple PWM, so no idea what's going on here.- Fan RPM varies slightly, apparently at random. This might point to the resistor not being able to provide a steady current, which bodes awfully for it long term.- Fan never reaches top speed like it used to with the original part; a mouse breathing on you might be more cooling. I have genuine concerns about the ability of this part to adequately power the fan during the many months of freezing British Winter and the four days of scorching British Summer.UNKNOWNS:- I didn't use the loom since the vehicle's original loom was in good condition physically and electrically. A visual inspection shows the Yaopei loom to look adequate.CONCLUSION:- I got frustrated enough about my experience with this part to write a long-winded, GCSE-level-attempt-at-comedy review about it, so that probably tells you all you need to know about both myself and the part.- If you're desperate and just need the fan motor to spin in some capacity, this part is fine. Otherwise, you're better off trying a brand with a little more prestige.UPDATE: about five days after this review, the unit stopped working entirely. A quality item for the ages.
