Mini Metal Dustpan and Brush Set Natural Bristle Hand Broom for Fireplace Woodstove

I have been so sick of trying to use standing plastic dustpans, the posture required to use them is super uncomfortable to me as it puts pressure on the abdomen. I missed using a handheld tiny dustpan and broom as a kid, and remembered seeing ones hanging in old shops, so this was the best thing I found when I searched with those in mind.Unfortunately, I can't see the listing I bought it from anymore, so I don't know if anyone even sees this review? But anyway, I'm just using it as my regular indoor dustpan and it works great! Love the materials, it hangs fine, looks pretty, colors are nice, no problems with function at all. It's much better physically to get on the floor and collect what you've swept up IMO, and you can actually see what you're doing. Thanks for this! (Yes it's small, but I knew that and don't have any issues with the size)

As others have said, it is quite small, but built of sturdy materials and well constructed. I would imagine if not abused it could easily last a lifetime. I agree with the review that said it was not stainless steel but rather it is nicely coated mild steel. I believe it will be absolutely perfect as a counterbrush to clean the stray flower and seeds and crumbs from the food contact surfaces in the kitchen and from the table linens on the dining table. I'm going to use it for just that so that it stays sanitary. Although, technically it would have to be made in Japan to be a Shuro broom and this one is clearly marked made in China, it is absolutely a quality product. The very same big palms and windmill palms that have been used for centuries are native to both China and Japan. I'm sure the broom bristles are authentic; they are very fine and don't create any static electricity so it's extremely well suited for sweeping and collecting extremely fine dust like pastry flour. I couldn't be happier with this product.

First of all the only function we need his for is to clean up around and in the wood stove. Very lite duty tool. It reminds me of a miniaturized witch's broom. Super cute. The pan isn't the most sturdy thing as the handle rivets are loose. But it is not made to shovel concrete. Our use is for woodstove ash. I expect this set to last many years with said use.

This set is perfect for cleaning up around the wood stove. The metal dustpan is safe for hot coals and ash, and it's small enough to fit in the corners when cleaning out the firebox. I never thought of a dustpan and whisk broom as being cute, but these absolutely are. Also, the dustpan looks white inside, but it's all silver (all metal) as it should be. And the little broom is well made and holding up nicely.

The little broom is cute, and functional. The little dustpan is - well - not quite as described. I mean, it is, except that the hanging loop pulled out of whatever was holding the ends to make that loop. I spent 5 minutes wrapping a rubber band around ... and around ... and around ... So far, it's holding. But this was purchased to be used, not as a decorative item, and I hang a lot of things because I have limited space. I guess it was too heavy for the glue, or whatever. Oh, yeah. One of the main reasons I chose THIS broom and dustpan was the lack of icky plastic parts.

I'm trying to go as plastic-free as I can. This is a great little brush and dustpan set made of natural materials. I keep it on my back porch to take care of spills as they happen. The brush is thick and firm and the pan is just the right size. Both are well made. As my other dustpan sets wear out, I will replace them with more of these.

We recently purchased a Ventis HEI240 fireplace insert and we love it. But my open fireplace tools are just too big to do a good cleanout. So I ordered this dustpan and brush to work inside the insert. It's working out better than I had expected, the dustpan fits in there nicely and it's easy to scoop up piles of ash. Once I get the bulk of ashes scooped out I can use the brush to move the remaining ash to the center and scoop it out. I'm getting about 95% of all the ash out by using this dustpan and brush. I then use my shop vac with a filter bag installed to vacuum out the remaining ash. With the filter bag in my shop vac I get absolutely no ash dust into the room. It all works great!

Too small for our use. It is like a toy instead of a broom to actually use for the wood stove debris. Cute but not functional for our needs.
