The best book for partisans

this books tell you nothing about explosives or homemade bombs ....A bomb is not home made when you wire comercial explosives in a box.Any idiot can do that.I thought it would be interesting reading but was very dissapointed.Dont buy this book it is expensive and over rated the du Pont blasters manual will tell you exactly how to blast with commercial explosives.Stoffel will kill himself if he tries to defuse a bomb as mentioned in his book.

I remember when you had to be a bonafide bomb technician to own this book, even regular cops had a hard time getting it. It was THE textbook used in community college courses on law enforcement back in the 60's and 70's. And if you happened to get your hands on a copy and weren't a bomb tech the cops would show up at your house asking for it.Then came Paladin Press, and until September 1999 published an extensive library of bomb-making manuals. The Patriot Act put an end to that (and the fact that they got sued) and those books sell for hundreds of dollars now...that is, IF you can find them and know the specific titles.Explosives and Homemade Bombs is written for law enforcement, but is jam packed with all sorts of dangerous "how-to" information. It's practically an encyclopedia on how to build pipe and fire bombs.I understand people being upset that it's so easily available, it really should be removed from public access. The information is far more dangerous and explicit than the Anarchist's Cookbook (all the bombs are wired wrong and won't work) or the Poor Man's James Bond series.If you should decide to risk it and buy a copy, pay cash and use a mail drop. I can practically guarantee the only reason it's still available is to collect names.

I already knew a good deal about the subject and was expecting a detailed, scientific perspective. Not so. This is about as complex as a comic strip.

Maybe I'll take this in my carry on luggage. TSA says they won't pay attention to what I'm reading - they're only looking for anything hidden in the pages. Let's find out.

wow this is a great book for a terrorist to get there hands on, thats just great esp in the U.S how can books like this be published i find it repulsive and dangerous to have out there for anyone to get.. shoould do backgrounds checks on people that buy this book just like guns
