Bought these to replace the OE style halogen bulbs on my ‘07 Ranger and did there was a big improvement. My housings have been cleaned up but the improvement would be even better if I had new headlight housings. I do not drive the truck much at night but the difference is literally night and day. Brighter bulbs typically mean less life so there’s that to consider, but at less then silver star ultra prices, I’d just buy them again.

I installed these in a Ford F250 4 x 4. Yes they are a bit brighter but definitely not 150% as advertised.I do a lot of night driving and thought these would be great. My headlamps are clear and clean not aged and clouded.Using a Fluke inductive amp clamp meter and performing the ohm's law math I found these new light bulbs to be drawing about 68 watts on low beam and 87 watts on high beam. Compared to the factory bulb wattage of 55/65 watt of 53 low and 66 high. These readings was taken at a fast idle @ 13.4 VDC.I didn't want a white, white light as those reflect too much light back at the driver in foggy conditions.I re-aimed the head lamps to a 1% drop as required by most state laws.If you are a driver that gets flashed a lot by oncoming vehicles and you have adjusted your head lamp aim.I would encourage you to re-adjust them to a .5 to a 1% drop. 1% equates to 1-3/16" at a distance of 10 feet. Any time a person adjust their headlamps to near level they will probably get flashed.Stay away from LED headlamp bulbs unless your willing to pay over $100.00 for a pair. Most inexpensive LED bulbs do not perform as desired. A lot of truckers that run at night have paid well over $100 for a set of LED's. Truckers Iv'e talked with say LED's are okay but you may have to try different ones for the expected results. Because, every headlamp housing is different and depending on how the LED's are attached to the bulb itself makes all the difference.

Well, I expected brighter, but these aren't any brighter than my standard bulb. I needed a replacement, so they will do just for that, but as for getting better vision out of it, this is not the answer. Find something else.

My personal automobile headlight replacement

Installed on a Mk4 Jetta to replace a set of older bulbs. The standard brightness bulbs were cheaper than an alternate set from another brand at the car parts store I had used before.

The brightness may depend on your headlight assembly, but for me these were no different than any other headlight bulb I've used in the past.

Compre para un jetta A4 y los que tenia, unos sylvania HB2 dan mucha mas luz , los focos llegaron con el blister abierto y no se sabe si realmente eran originales o solo les metieron unos genéricos clones en un blister de hella, los voy a dejar hasta que se quemen y volveré a los sylvania o probare los led.

Je m'attendais à ce qu'il éclaire un peu plus étant donné la description de super blanc éclairant, mais c'est quand même bien je vois plus clair que les anciennes lumières. Le produit est tel que décrit dans son emballage d'origine. La livraison est rapide

DO NOT BUY THESE. I was hard pressed to write this review because everything I’ve ever bought from Hella has always been quality, but these? NO. They melted the wires/plugin for my bulbs after ONE WEEK of use. Last thing anyone should have to worry about is an electrical fire due to headlight bulbs. Lucky I was paying attention and caught this right as it was beginning or I’d be looking for a new car instead of the parts to re-wire my headlights. Big thumbs down on these bulbs.

Not as bright as I was hoping for. Value was good, pretty much getting the pair for the for the cost of one.

La luz incrementó bastante, se las puse a mi Jetta con el que batallaba para ver lejos en zonas con poca iluminación, con estos focos cambió muchísimo y alcanzo a ver a varios metros más de distancia.
