Perfection
Um, I'm in love! This stuff is amazing and looks spectacular. I really needed some warmth and texture on my large all white desk and this is exactly what I needed.I noticed some reviews claimed it was difficult to work with or the wrong size. But none of these complaints are really the fault of the product.Be sure to measure what you want to use it for beforehand. The measurements are clearly posted in the product description. Also, the back of the paper had application instructions, if you follow these instructions the application is super easy and the finished product is flawless. Instead of buying a scraper to avoid air bubbles I just used the back of a lotion container (pictured)Overall this product is exactly what is described and it makes whatever you cover look very high end. Marble decor is super in right now so I couldn't be happier with it.The only sad thing is I want to order more but the price went up!!

Nice update for worn desktop.
Looks great and withstood many repositionings while smoothing it out. I used it to recover my ikea micke desk (the finishing had worn in many places after daily use). The roll is not very wide, so I had to cut 2" extra strips for the back of the desk. They can't be seen with the computer stuff in front (though they don't look horrendous-- I just can't stand seeing the seam and slight mismatch of pattern). I covered the desk lengthwise even though it would've been easier working with shorter pieces, because the pattern for this paper is too hard to match up to run the seams horizontally, and unless you have a perfect hand, your cuts may appear uneven at the very edge of a desk or counter (you could run the paper over the surface edge and wrap under for a perfect line, but I couldn't, because of desk drawers). Overall a great improvement to extend the life of my desk!

Turns drab into high class!
Looks awesome. I had a hard time getting it lay flat with no bubbles, but it was also my first time using contact paper. And when I did end up making creases, it didn't really matter because the marble look disguised it haha But it made my old desk look like a million bucks!

Great for making something old look new!
For a while I didn't k ow what to with the tops of my two end tables in my living room after refinishing them. And then I stumbled on this! And I'm so glad I did. Word to the wise...it is very sticky and once it's down its down.I tried repositioning the contact paper because I noticed bubbles but decided to not worry about it after it peeled away at the top of my end table.I would suggest unrolling the paper as you move over across your project to help minimize the bubbles. The first time I used it I had precut it and tried to lay it down...no. I would also suggest cutting strips for the sides and trimming the excess.

Easy to use and great results
Love this! I was a little hesitant that it would look realistic when I first opened it up. But I decided to apply it anyway to the filing cabinet that I was updating, and I am so happy with the results. The instructions on the back of the paper were easy to follow, it came out smooth and let me adjust it a few times when I was getting the bubbles out. It was really easy to cut with an xacto knife, and so far I'm very happy with it. I will update this if anything changes after some daily use in my classroom.FYI if it helps, the paint that I used on the cabinet is Rustoleum Metallic Rose Gold. The photo that the seller provided for the listing is pretty true to the actual colors.

Some good, some bad
When this product arrived yesterday, one of the rolls was "dented". Not sure this will come out or not when I use it. There are pros and cons to this product.Pros: It's absolutely beautiful. I was so pleased with the finish. It has a nice shine to it and looks very close to real marble. The colors are much nicer than shown in the little sample here.Cons: They use tape so it won't unroll. This tape goes almost all the way around the roll. Whatever they use as an adhesive, I was not able to remove it. I tried GooGone and a few other non-abrasive products but could not completely remove the adhesive. So, I ended up cutting off the first 4 inches. It is VERY hard to work with. It reminds me of the old Con-Tac brand from years ago. It will stick to itself quidkly and it's almost impossible to get it unstuck. I was covering a small night stand top. Once the product is rolled out, you cannot safely remove and re position it. When I tried that, it removed two large areas of the surface on my table. Ended up tossing that piece out. Decided to try again because I REALLY wanted to use this on my end table as well as the dresser.First, I had to lightly sand where the original surface was pulled off by the first attempt. Wiped it with a clean damp cloth. Finally did get it applied to the table top and it looked great but it showed every tiny little imperfection that was on the table top. There were also a few bubbles that I couldn't get out as I was afraid to lift it back up again. It doesn't stick like that to all surfaces. The back edge of the table was a raw wood of some type. I folded the paper over the table edge but it would not adhere so I used some scotch tape to hold it down. You can't see it, so that's okay. As long as you don't look down and across the surface, it looks perfect. I hardly doubt that anyone will be doing that.I am putting off using it on my dresser until I find out how to remove that adhesive that holds the roll closed. I can't waste another 4 inches or - it won't be long enough. I will still have to purchase another roll since I wasted half of the first one getting satisfactory results on my night stand.I am attaching a photo of the finished product. It really looks awesome as long as you don't look too closely.

I liked the look of it
I liked the look of it, but the application process was way to difficult. It stuck to itself and was wasted.
