No need to say more, it works great to maintain ALK and Ca levels in my reef tank. Easy to dose and affordable. Corals are responding well to the stability afforded.

This is my go to brand for quality Alkalinity and Calcium. The ingredients and quality consistency has been very good. The volume of product for the price is a great value compared to fish stores. This brand of 2 part has done wonders for my 5 year old reef tank! I will be back for more!

Love this stuff. I put it in my 90 gallon reef tank every morning.Ok, I don't really, but I do it when I remember. The corals seem to love it. I asked them and they didn't respond, but that's because corals can't talk. If they COULD respond they'd tell me that they love this stuff, along with some critiques about my tank maintenance practices and personal hygiene.My fish seem indifferent and downright apathetic to it, but fish are stupid. Have you ever seen a fish with a college degree? No, not a dolphin - those are porpoises and I said fish. That's what I thought. They wouldn't know a good 2-part Calcium buffer product if it smacked them in the face.I don't know if I need this stuff really, but I like it. My tank is purpler and that is pretty. The way it makes a 10 second cloudy burst of chaos when part one is administered is fun, too, and I get to say things like "Oh no! There's been a terrible explosion and life as you know it is going to end! Quickly, find solace amidst the coral reef!" Stupid clownfish. They aren't even funny.

Did not come with any dosing cups. Not a big deal, but inconvenient. The labels on the bottles also looked a little oldor faded. That may just be the design though, since I've never used this before. First time using ESV B-Ionic. I used another product in the past I liked a lot. I couldn't remember the name of it, so I bought this. Other than raising my PH a bit I haven't noticed any other impacts; good or bad. No significant change to corals, coraline algae, or anything else. Also no negative impacts either. It may be doing more than I can see since I don't test for trace elements and such. I'm about half way thru the bottles at this point. Giving 4 stars because I haven't seen any obvious results, lack of dosing cups, and labels hinting at maybe an older product.

My water parameters were off and things were not thriving .. now my corals are growing and happy .

The measurement cup these came with was broken upon arrival, (it was flimsy) but this two part does the job. I let the alk get too low in my aquarium while I was minimizing water changes to help it cycle, and a huge really old piece of SPS my friend gave me died. In a panic, I bought this two part, and changed 1/5 of the water. It saved the frags of sps I had left, and my alk went up to recommended levels. my only gripe is the price. for big tanks, 100+ gal, definitely get the gallon jugs. It's easy to use, but you will need your own measuring device.

Although this is the first time I have bought this product on Amazon, I have used this product for years. My tank, full of live rock and 2 clownfish, both of which are thriving with all kinds of LPS, some sponges , coralline algae, etc. for over 13 years! Did I mention I have two spawning clownifsh for 13 years? All of the critters I have had under this stuff, have thrived, including a starfish (who had to be moved to his own tank due to his destructive behaviors) lived to be over ten years old. This is an essential product, along with proper husbandry, for your marine environment.
