Tools for Thought: Graphic Organizers for Your Classroom

Seriously, I don't know how this man has time to teach and come out with all of these great books.I keep this around to help me lesson plan since a lot of my students identify themselves as visual learners.

This resource arrived quickly and was as described. It will be very useful to me as a classroom teacher. I love all of Jim Burkes resources, but this one is a must-have!

Filled with graphic organizers and ideas for teachers--this is a great companion to his textbook for English Teachers. I think this would be helpful for a new teacher who teaches grades 7-12. I'm using a lot of his ideas in my 9th grade English class.

This book is an excellent resource for both beginning teachers as well as experienced teachers. Burke's book will give you a wealth of usable, practical strategies that will aid EVERY student in the classroom.

this is a great book for helping students organize their notes and then develop their notes into papers incorporating research practices. Great examples and great lessons. English teachers a MUST BUY!
