This is a sturdy looking foot. My issue with it is that the pin in the middle is further over to the left making the whole stitch narrower, meaning it is harder to capture all joining fabric.It connects to sewing machine well.I bought this one as it mentioned brother in the description and paid quite a bit more than others to get one that was the same as the one that came with my machine, but unfortunately it wasn't the same design.
