Really bright
Surprisingly bright for a torch running on 2x AA batteries (included).The glow in the dark ring on the front is a good idea and makes the torch easy to find in the dark.

very uneven beam
The beam has quite noticable rings of different brightness with a very small, bright centre, surrounded by a more yellow light surrounded by a "normal" beam.I don't see the point of the low-settings; it just means you have to press the button twice to switch off, which is a real pain, every single time you use it.
