Q: A knob and screw that holds handle came off my composter. where can i find ones?

Don't waste the effort. Just use a different container, like a paper milk carton.

Q: Can you buy just a replacement lid? Not the filters, but the lid?

Unfortunately at moment the manufacturer does not offer replacement lids.

Q: It seems to me that the canister lid should come apart to change the filter, any suggestions?

Doesn't come apart. You just have to pull the old filters out, then use a brush to get the lid clean before stuffing in and smoothing new filters. Filters last a long time, in my experience. Love my Off!
