Not universal. I have 2 different suitcases with the same hole patterns as the wheels but it is not deep enough for the screws to attach

The holes did not match with my luggage but I was able to screw it anyway. The kit does not come with the screwdriver although the pictures shows the screwdriver.

I bought these to replace the wheels in my really old Ricardo-branded carry on luggage. The old wheels were just attached onto the luggage from the inside with four philips-head screws, so it was not a problem to swap them out. At first I was hesitant to buy these as my measurements were a tiny bit different than the one that the seller provided by 1-3mm, but ultimately I got them to fit. The base/mounts are not an exact copy of the original base/mounts but being off 1-3mm didn't matter as the holes inside my luggage were a little wide. The spiny wheels themselves look identical to the old ones but the new ones spin substantially better than my old ones, leading to a much smoother roll. Also, the new ones feel more rubbery while my old ones hardened quite a bit. I bought two sets (pairs) of wheels. The first set I got was perfect and they were really smooth. Excitedly I bought a second set to complete the swap but the second set's wheels did not spin well. Overall, I think if you get a good pair, then these are fantastic replacements, but there seems to be some quality control issues.

Not sure about the long term durability of these wheels. However, they were a perfect fit for my bag. The old wheels were total crap and gave out within only a few trips. These replacement wheels made the bag useful again.

Thanks to the detailed diagrams provided by the seller for screw placement, I was able to find the correct wheel assembly to replace the broken single wheels on my Samsonite, with these nice skate-style units. Installation was simple. These work well and are sturdier than the originals.

Only reason I'm giving these a 3 star review is because they didn't fit my blue, hardcase American Flier 24" expandable suitcase. Thought they would, but they didn't. Nothing wrong with the actual product as far as I can find. They're your average plastic luggage wheels, no more durable or sturdy than the ones my suitcase came with. But other than that, I didn't spend too much time testing them once I found they didn't fit. Measure your wheels accurately, and don't get fooled by the words "universal" or "fits MOST" like me and you'll save yourself the hassle.
