Great product
I was impressed with the feel of these curtain liners. Smooth, soft and completely opaque. Perfect for keeping out cold in the winter or heat in the summer. Just what I needed.

light and heat blocking
Drape liners are exactly what I needed to block the sun plus add a heat/cooling barrier to my windows. They are a little tricky to hang by the hooks on the loops then hang the drapes without the hooks coming off. The 50' width was perfect for two windows & matched the width of existing draperies perfectly but the other drapes did not match up so well. Instructions say they can be cut to fit although I am hesitant to do so. All in all I am happy with them & only gave 4 stars due to the hanging difficulty.

A room darkening experience
Keeps the sun from heating up the family room and does a great in room darkening. Very good quality.

Tabs ripped immediately
These do a good job of blocking light! There is no doubt about that - it's way easier to have something like this than buying blackout fabric and doing all the work of finishing the edges, attaching to a curtain panel, etc. However, I washed mine on cold, on delicate, with only the two panels in the machine and both the headings started falling apart. On one panel, I found a big long loose thread on the front side of the panel. Wasn't stoked to see that, but figured it was still usable. However, on the other panel, the tabs have started completely ripping out 4 inches from the edge. Needless to say, I'll be attempting to return. I washed/dried on such low settings that there are still fold line wrinkles in them, so I'm not sure how else I could have gone about it. I suppose if you're okay with not washing these, then go for it, because they really do a great job at blocking out the light, but with the loops ripping out of mine, they just won't be usable. I know there is a big box Swedish store where I can purchase items that appear to have better stitching for the hooks and will be going that route.

Perfect!
The curtains I picked for the nursery were very sheer and let too much light in. These liners are perfect! They’re not terrible difficult to install either.

It's got its pros and cons
I'm going to recommend getting the double curtain rod, or better yet, a tension rod if you don't have blinds. Because the hooks are more trouble than they're worth.I'm going to go ahead and assume that you actually like the curtains you're putting this behind, and that they're not heavy enough to block out light. Based on that, attaching hooks in the manner shown in the listing picture is going to pull the top ruffle of said curtains clear over the rod to the other side with the sheer weight of this liner, and I bought the smallest and therefore lightest size. This is going to ruin the look of the curtains that you like so much. (Plus, it's really a pain to space them correctly, especially if you have a *set* of panels you're putting it behind, because then there's more measuring. So definitely go for a separate rod.But on that note, a *double* curtain rod is going to raise the liner up higher than the hem of the curtains, if you're using 60" curtains. And then the sun comes in through an annoying inch-or-so crack along the bottom. Also unsightly. You're best bet is a tension rod. Just skip the blinds. You won't need them with this liner. It's fully capable of blocking light without their assistance.

Bang for buck
I bought 26 of these due to moving into a home that had no curtains (luckily the existing rods were in usable shape) and the afternoon sun was just too hot in the bedrooms, dining room and living room. I didn't want to spend a fortune and being in HI there's usually a catch for shipping with online retailers. This thing gets the job done at like half the cost compared to other options available (locally and online).Possible cons (depending on your situation):I'd have given this 5 stars; however, it states DRY CLEAN ONLY and some came dirty. I had bought sheers to put over them for a decorative touch and the dirty patches show through...Although the listing says machine washable, I'm not willing to take the chance to toss them in washer and dryer at this time. Also, when I opened 6 of these, 3 of them already didn't have hooks. This doesn't impact me but for those who have existing curtains that you want to hook these behind of...Some of the lengths aren't consistent, but it's only about an inch difference. I just needed functionality and am not bothered by this. If you are a perfectionist, this is not for you.The curtain and window widths along with curtain rod style should be considered if you are worried where the seams/opening will be.

Keeps out light and cold air
I was glad I found these. The length fit my needs, but they are a bit wide. I thought when I purchased, I would just push them back (used a double rod for hanging). But the material is heavy. I'll be cutting the width down.

Mission Accomplished
I ordered 2 packages of these white blackout panels because I didn’t realize that one package contains 2 panels. However, I think I’m keeping the extra set because they accomplish what I wanted — room darkening! Other reviewers have commented on their weight and how they pull on the fabric of their decorative drapery panels and distort the shape and how they hang once the panels are installed. Knowing this ahead of time, I wasn’t certain these would work for me especially since I was installing the blackout panels behind light-weight linen, grommet drapes. The blackout panels come with drapery hooks that will only work if you hook the blackout panels and your decorative panels together with the hooks provided (this is what causes the pulling and distortion). Since I wanted these blackout panels installed behind grommet panels, I knew I had to do something else and I didn’t want to install grommets into the blackout panels. I happened to have some inexpensive shower curtain hooks on-hand and they worked perfectly! I laid my decorative panel on top of the blackout panels and evenly spaced the shower hooks along the loops of the blackout panel. I simply threaded both the blackout panel and decorative panel onto my rod at the same time making sure to start, and end, with the decorative panel. There was no strange odour to these panels (as some have mentioned about other blackout panels). The panels were quite wrinkled (due to packaging) but I hung them as they came, straight out of the package. I have not washed or ironed these yet so I gave it a 4 star based on the “unknown” at this point. The panels Hope the pics help!

Great light-blocking product!
If you want all light blocked, these are the liners to purchase... They will easily hang behind your curtains - not bulky at all... Great product!

The drapery liners are stiff and heavy.
I don't have much experience with blackout drapes so maybe that's the norm. They have a pocket rod but in the photo seem to be able to attach from the top. I'm not going to use them for the application I'd hoped and am undecided about sending them back. Not sure I can use them somewhere else. They're not the bright white I'd hoped but a greyish off white.
