The 39 Clues Complete Boxed Set 1-11 and Digital Cards

I often read the classics and other chapter books that are interesting and have a sense of adventure. I like to have them around to encourage the kids to read--when they see me reading paper books they want to read to. I have not used all of the online/digital portion, although what I did see was great and well designed for the target age range.This story line was captivating and exciting. I say these are almost in the category of Harry Potter, such that adults and kids would both enjoy reading them.Some of the content is serious and severe--the kids are in peril from adults and other kids quite often. It is good to know about that part to discuss with your kids as needed.

My daughter discovered these particular books at school, and instantly fell in love with the story line. Her Grandma bought this box set for her last Christmas. They actually came a LOT quicker than was originally anticipated. We were so pleased of the fast delivery. My 9 year old daughter has a hard time getting involved in reading a book because of her ADHD, but these books have managed to hold her attention better than other books.Essentially the premise of these books surrounds the Cahills, a powerful family who has a family member die that leaves a challenge for her surviving relatives to either take one million dollars or find the source of the family's power. Each book offers a clue that leads to the source which of course totals 39 clues that leads to the answer. The books follow fourteen-year-old Amy Cahill and her eleven-year-old brother Dan as they travel the world to hunt for the clues. These two are not the only Chahills looking for the clues which makes for a dramatic story line.My daughter couldn't finish a book fast enough, and was eagerly telling me about each book when she was finished. I am very happy with this boxed set.

This book collection is wonderful! My son, and now I, have enjoyed the first two books already and are eager to continue the saga. We like that we have the whole collection so we can continue the series at our own pace. Once one book is read we are eager to read the next. We recieved the product in excellent condition and at an earlier time than expected. In addition, after shopping around found we paid the lowest price as well. I would definitely recommend purchase of the entire series if one enjoys excitement and adventure in their book reading. I would also recommend purchase from this facility through Amazon.

Good books. Soft cover. But like everybody said there are no cards which my son was bummed about!

I am reading the first book with my 6 and 9 year old now. It certainly keeps your attention! The first edition of the book was published in 2008.This addition was published in the UK in 2012. I think the website might have changed some since inception and the instructions to get the digital cards do not work. However, there is lots of info online and I was able to get the cards by going to the39clues.scholastic.com/getyourcards and then clicking on a book. You will answer a few questions using the book and then the cards will show up when you click on the my cards button when you are logged-on to your account. The cards seem to be independent of the books. The on-line opportunities for adventure and collecting might be great for some kids but we are just trying to keep up with homework and read the books at the present time.

My 11 yr old really enjoys the 39 Clues series - the stories are fun and the digital clues make the book interactive and interesting.

So, when I first got the series, I was like, "YES! FINALLY! WOOHOO!" The cards were more fun to get, since you unlocked them online, and the books had that awesome new papery smell. Even now, 3 months after getting the books, they still have a little bit of that scent. The books themselves were as fun to read as always, and now I can read my favorite book over and over without having to renew it at the library. So, as you sit here reading this review, I assure you that buying these books is not a waste of time! It's 20% cooler than getting them from the library.(P.S, if you do buy the series, don't be surprised at how small the packaging is.{:-D)

My kids enjoy these book series. Very fast delivery.

The set of books were all in good condition and weren't torn or messed up. All books were received by me in good state and the story was interesting, gripping and worth the money. Thank god I didn’t receive a bad product. Amazon has delivered a product in positive state. Overall, all were in good condition and were not prone to damage or wear and tear. But the pack was a little small to carry 11 books of that size, so it was a bit stuffed up. But if you keep one of the books away from the set for reading, there will be no problems.

Ordered these books for my 11 year Olds birthday. He is not much of a reader for the novel type books and has been able (with some encouragement) to almost finish the whole series within 6 months. Product came quickly and in perfect condition.

Daughter (9 year old) loves them. She literally can’t put them down!Highly recommend!
