I got this yesterday and today I made blackberry jam in it. For the price you can't beat it. Very heavy duty . It held its heat very well. Worked well on my glass top stove. Has a nice thick bottom. Was easy to clean. I never knew how much I needed a maslin jam pan. Having a handle and a pour spout makes it very easy to pour either directly into your jars or like I do,into a 8 cup glass measuring cup. This pan came with a canning funnel and a strainer. I believe it's the cheapest maslin pot on Amazon . If you make and can your own Jam or Jelly you need this pot.

I love everything about this product! It’s perfect! Definitely not one of those cheap knock-offs! It’s very solid and well made. I’ve had it in my wish list for a while and finally decided to buy it. It’s worth every penny. I believe this will last me a very long time.

I cannot say enough good things about this pan. It is designed perfectly for its intended purpose and more. The heavy bottom prevents scorching, the bail on the top and handle stay cool, the pour is balanced and easy to control. The graduated measurements on the inside will prove very useful when reducing stock and the like. Excellent purchase.

I don't know how I ever did without this pan!It's referred to a jelly pan but I have never used it for jelly. It's great when canning tomatoes or large quantities of any product whether requiring heat or for cold pack. I particularly like the bail, the small handle and the pour spout. Does well in the dishwasher. If I could only have one pan in my kitchen, it would be this one!!

Wonderful for jams and jellies

Love the extra thick bottom, the handles pour spout, and how heavy duty the pot is. I really didn’t plan on using it for anything but jams, but I decided to try making chicken and dumplings in it since my dumplings always stick to the bottom of the pot (I’m always chopping the meat and don’t stir it as much as it needs). But my dumplings didn’t stick for the first time. Next I made stock in it and really enjoyed the measurements so I could reliably tell exactly how much my broth had reduced. The only drawback is if you want a lid it doesn’t come with one. One from another pot fit it , so if I want to use it with a lid, I’m ready.

This pot is the perfect size for make large amount of jelly, jams, butters, sauces etc. I love its quality so food doesn't burn. And the pour spout is a great feature!!!

I hesitated about purchasing this but with the holidays approaching I found myself making more jams/jellies for my pop-ups in my standard stainless steel pot (which I thought was big enough!) This has been a lifesaver and used it for the first time last weekend. Very easy to use, very easy to clean, and surprisingly very durable. I also love the funnel that it came with. Item is as described and highly recommend.

This pot is amazing. I totally love it. I should’ve had it years ago because of the thick bottom if you’re doing like jam or jelly, it does not burn easily, which makes me happy.

So east to use has a pour spout as well as a jar funnel. Perfect for canning berries just like the intended use.

Love it. Great for home canning although the marking could be darker.
