I specifically bought this kit because the online photo shows it contains basic thread colors, specifically white, black and brown. Instead, it contained weird colors. A fun item along with other things a new bride and groom may not have in the house, if they pop a button they likely would not need pink, teal or purple thread. No time to replace it, I removed the thread from the spools, and wound them with the colors I expected them to contain.

It is a nice kit but BEWARE the tape measure is inaccurate. In my photo the white tape is the one from the kit; the yellow one is a brand name that is accurate.

Perfect size for travel. Has all the basic things you need! Bought for my mom, for Christmas. So excited to give it to her! Got her quickly and boxed perfectly.

Great sewing travel kit. I love that this kit comes with a zipper closure, unlike other kits I have tried. The plastic ones tend to break and open up on their own. I like that this case won't break, it has a cute black and red design with a zipper. This kit does not offer all different thread colors, but the more common colors. I like that there are four dark threads to choose from. I do like that there are some snaps provided in this set, since that's something I never usually come across in a kit, and have had emergencies in which a snap would of been awesome. Overall I am very pleased with this kit for travel and emergency purposes. This is a great stocking stuffer too. As a busy mother of an active boy who is always on the move - and ripping things left and right, this kit is godsend. I can throw it in my purse as we head out or I can stash it in my drawers at home and it won't take up too much room. Its compact and perfect for travel and its SO cute that you will just absolutely fall in love with it based on the cuteness factor alone! Cuteness and convenience aside,I love how affordable this sewing kit is!

I do a lot of crafting for shows and bazaars. Mostly I crochet and knit but occassionally I do find myself in need to sew for minor things, such as attaching buttons. Also with its compact size, it is easy to bring with me to these events should any customer return that needs "patchwork" done on any piece they got from me. I will be carrying this with me to every event.
