This is the best CCR album hands down. Mine was delivered with the sleeve crumpled but I didn't return it seemed to be last copy.Played on my Denon table upgraded with AT740ML cartridge and Musical Fidelity LX2LPS phono preamp, fed into Marantz amp and Wharfedale speakers.The sound is clean and fat. Even though it's remastered, has retained it analog warmth entirely. Excellent resolution, all the layered rhythm and lead guitars separately standing out. Bass lines on 'Grapevine' is addictive and foot tapping. Overall sound is clean and better than what I have had on my CD and cassette tape over last 25 years. The vinyl had a lot of dust that required wet cleaning before playing.Regarding the songs, while the cover of Marvin Gaye's classic "Heard it Through the Grapevine" is the tour de force with its 11 minute rendition, there is not a single bad number in this album. Barring two, all make it to CCR's best collections everytime.Close your eyes and go for it.

It says Back to black on the shrink wrap but this LP sounds highly congested. Doesn't sound analog, sounds almost exactly like the CD leading me to suspect this LP was not mastered from the original but from the digital version. Not happy.

This is my favourite Creedence album, yielding several hit singles. Travelling Band, Run Through the Jungle, Up Around the Bend, Long As I Can See the Light. Plus epic version of Heard it Through the Grapevine and six other great blues/rock numbers. It's practically a Greatest Hits album on its own!!😎. This is my third version. LP, CD, and now expanded CD! Wonderful stuff. Classic rock 🎸🎸.

Petit emballage spécial glissé dans le carton d'un autre achat de façon à être protégé d'une casse éventuelle. Très bonne initiative. Pas encore utilisé mais ayant un exemplaire depuis 1970 je ne doute pas des bons moments rock n'roll à venir.

This is deluxe SACD (Super Audio Compact Disc) version of this album. I grew up in the 1970's and this was the first album I bought and I was 9 years old. Had only been buying 45 RPM 7" vinyl hit single records prior to this. This was a revelation, being an album in the first place, but how good every single song on the album was and still is. Of course it was a new 12" vinyl record album. This record is long gone. Had replaced it with a CD in the 1990's. This CD, played on a good stereo, did not sound as good as my vinyl album on a cheap record player. Got this and played it on the same CD player and it sounds really good, so if you have a SACD player, even better, I would assume. Bottom line is the album is great, regardless of format.
