5.11 EDC PLUV 1AAA Penlight Tactical Flashlight, Style 53382, Ultra Violet

I've been using a white light, 2 AAA cell version of this for over 10 years on a near daily basis. The addition of UV light is an excellent compliment for specific first aid usage and I can envision the right professional utilizing this in a meaningful way in a number of routing usage from science, forensic, LEO, night vision preservation, to artistic, and entertainment. Roughly the size of a chapstick tube. You'll likely loose it before you break it.

Very well built in true 511 form but NOT a regular flashlight. This light is ultraviolet.

Sturdy little light. It is UV only, in case you missed that like I did lol. Not overly bright but if you're just needing it for a small task it will do nicely.

Its just a purple led. Isn't real uv.A usable throw of about 4 inches.365nm is apparently the only way to go. This is no good.

My 4th light from 5.11 all work well, fun to use the UV light for checking bills, ID, and walls lol.

I am a server at a bar and I use this as an extra layer of security when checking IDs. Super durable, dropped it a bunch of times and hasn't died yet. Runs for ages on a single AAA and I also don't have to worry about keeping it charged although if I did want that I'd just throw a rechargable battery in it.

Not very pleased at all. This thing not only drains battery despite being EXTREMELY tiny, but is incredibly easy to accidentally misplace or pop out of my jeans pocket

Nice little light only flaw is that it's a little to small for the applications I was using it for

I like the design my only issues are the brightness is very low and how over priced it is especially when theres more cheaper and more effective

Brought this for my wife, she works with cash in her career, she’s more than happy with it!
