Q: What are they made from, wood, ?

All Fontanini figurines are beautiful! I have ordered various figurines to add to my Nativity Set and have never been disappointed. They are made of resin, not wood. Beautifully painted!

Q: Are they too large for 5 in scale nativity figures?

I apologize for the late reply. I was traveling and away from the little sheep. The three larger sheep measure about 3 inches long (nose to tail) and stand a little over 2 1/4 inches tall (with their heads up). The little guy who is grazing is about 1 5/8 inches tall. The two that are lying down are about 2 inches long and about 1 3/8 inches tall. Because sheep are different sizes, they could possibly be more interchangeable with different sized manger scenes than characters would be. Thanks for your question. Lauri

Good AfternoonFontanini offers both white sheep and brown sheep sets. We do not have any of the brown sheep. We have only the white sheep set.The white sheep have undertones of brown beneath, so you can actually see both colors when you look at the sheep.The sheep range in size from 2" to 2 1/2" long, all are about 3/4" wide, and they range from 1 1/8" to 2 1/4" high.Hope this information helpsHave a great dayMichael
