Red Alert: An NYPD Red Mystery (NYPD Red, 5) Paperback – October 2, 2018

This is my least favorite out of this series so far but it was still a good read.

I'm on NYPD Red 6! Once you open the book you cannot put it down. Great camaraderie between all the characters with a NY flavor.

Keeping three and sometimes four plotlines going at the same time has to be difficult. Doing it and making it all seem plausible is brilliant in my opinion.

I have always liked James Patterson books', this is another good one. I would recommend it. Interesting end. I wasn't expecting it.

Several good plots not easily solved. The ongoing relationship tangles seem to be working out and finally don't detract from the storylines, in my opinion. They now sweeten the storylines.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down! Lot's of twists and turns. You will stay up all night reading this one. Enjoy !

This is just really a fantastic series. Red Alert showed up as an item I might be interested in because I read a lot of crime/mystery/whodunnit books. Once I realized this was the 5th in an ongoing series, I started with the first NYPD Red and concluded with this one. I read all 5 books in about a week. Love the way that these books read like a movie. And the last couple have been really ramped up, throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Zach and Kylie.The reason I like these books is that the humor/romantic elements (I’m team Zach and Cheryl) help to balance out the murderous plots. I’m also a fan of the Bosch series, but those are more gritty and hard hitting, and can leave me feeling a little heavy when I finish them. That’s why I liked the levity and action in the Red series. I don’t even worry about figuring out who did what, I just go along for the ride and let everything play out. I hope they make many more.

I swear, reading James Patterson is going to make me sleep deprived. This was a little shorter than the others but it was just as good. I liked the fact the twists and I liked the fact that it wasn't what you had expected from all three cases. Have one more and then maybe I can put down my kindle for a night

I love reading James Patterson. This book was a great read.. fast paced and well written. I enjoy the NYPD Red series.

What a great read fast paced interesting plots and sub plots I hope the next book is as good as the other five
