No sauce, no flavour - BUT...
BUT NO MSG (which I can attest to being very sensitive to this toxic chemical). Other popular brands all contain hidden forma of MSG under the nebulous 'flavourings' - a legal loophole where food manufacturers can hide what's left of MSG in a product after processing.These beans had no flavour, I know they're low sugar but surely it isn't just sugar that makes baked beans tasty? There was no sauce, just a thick starch and that's makes it difficult to heat the beans without them burning; some liquid is required. I wouldn't recommend. The only pus side was they were well cooked. I'd rather eat Whole Earth beans - yes, you might have to cook them a bit longer but they actually taste like baked beans.Update, no change to rating but I added some chilli sauce and that made the flavour pop, and considering the Whole Earth brand was so hard you had to cook them for twenty minutes, I'd save money in electricity by just flavouring them as I wish! I shall buy again as there's not many 'organic' brands available.

ECONOMICAL SINCE I'VE BOUGHT SOME BIONA ORG. TOMATO JUICE.A GOOD CONCENTRATED BASE OF BEANS TO WHICH CAN BE ADDED MORE JUICE CHILLI GARLIC AND SPICES EXCELLENT! ENJOY YOUR CREATIONS.

How can you get baked beans wrong? Ok as a base for your own recipes but bland straight out of the tin.

Well cooked and tasty
Might be too soft for some but I really like them. This low sugar version is definitely not as sweet as a lot of others, not spicy just good old baked bean taste.
